It's basically very slightly bigger than your model, like 1.5x the model or so, so you basically can't really move if you want to keep the buff. You can run out and back in though. It's good for opening with a meteor on someone's who half hp fighting mobs, cause they die instantly, but it's otherwise meh.
Also few things based on the builds like that I've seen:
Bubble is A LOT better than the fear. Both break on damage but bubble lasts twice as long and has good synergy if you chain lightning first since it does some damage and the dot doesn't break the bubble(nor does fireball dot I believe but haven't checked). If you want a fear, get the instant cast pbae one, much better at getting shit off you.
I'd consider dropping lightning strike for a mana regen passive(probably the 3%dmg into mana one), lightning strike you don't get to use all that often due to the long cast time, maybe when you bubble first, but you'd probably meteor instead. I guess it might be on cd but then you have some serious issues. The build isn't meant to sustain, it's meant to burst down people.
This feels more like a team caster though, the complete abscence of mobility or survivability would make it hard to do anything but 1vs1 and even then the only advantageous position would be to get a meteor off, which relies on the opponent not having a bubble counter(which I think only the pvp cloaks remove but that's still pretty common).
I'm thinking of just dropping occultist, main reason for having it was the mana regen + the 7pt passive. Despite what NA tooltips say, the second witchraft skill (don't remember name ingame) still synergizes with fireball for free mana, so it hasn't really been an issue. Thinking about auramancy or bard, hmmm.

Loving my adventure clipper. Just spent like 40 minutes sailing around, doing nothing. Can't remember the last time I had so much fun in a mmo just goofing around doing side stuff other than questing. All of the farming, gathering, all of it.

I bought the "alpha-pack" last week and have a lot of fun just goofing around, testing different low-level-builds etc. The game is effectively complete&finished (apart from the translation), so its not really an alpha-test. If they really convert the alpha-server to the PTS-server without wiping chars, it will be even better...

Ditto the 1st day they went on sale had no hestation , the value they give you between the 75$ in 13k credit for the cash shop for pets, potions, costumes stuff, pirate outfits etc, the sweet glider, the custom cape with +3 to all stats that you can upload what you want on your cape, the other item that gives +3 to all stats, the 10 afterhour stones, 10 even stones, full set of costume armor, 3 months of patron pass 45$ value and im leaving stuff out.
Trion im sure is going to get the greed option in for group leaders so the group leader can set it for need before greed like all the other western MMO's scott hartsman was given the ok from XL to make changes if it effects us USA and euro the western audience.
I can name like 15 MMO's off the top of my head that have need before greed option for group leader to set were you can set to loot quality for rolls, for the raids MMO need master looter feature as well.
And before someone says can name some MMO's that just have need and pass well its 2014 and also those would be Eastern MMO's from china,japan and SKorea that is 1 of many reasons why those games come here and bomb without massive changes even though the eye candy like black dessert we wont get to see at least till 2016 and cant wait.
On the forums the botters are already whining they cant need on everything when this change goes thru, I mean if purple pure mage item drop and just happens to be 1 pure mage or hybrid mage im sorry but all my groups even pug tell them ahead if you class cant use it don't roll need on it, now for guild groups and friends its whole different deal the class the item drops may already have it or better so he lets a mate roll need to get it for 1 of his alts.
but sadly the botters in pugs their always 1 or inmature wants to roll need on everything like that TESO Trolls video where the guy wasn't helping the group just going around looting every chest they are fixing it in that massive patch but that is my point.

Arch-Age level cap in Korera is going to 55 spoke to someone at trion they confirmed in 1 their next patches either 1.2 or 1.3 however I spoke to someone mid level at trion they said they are going to give players here time to get to 50 and farms and homes before they spring level cap and that new patch on us.
I was talking to a north american KR player who said he was pretty unhappy with the 1.0 patch. They added some obnoxious cosmetics, something about the level cap being raised but only one new dungeon to grind up to it, and worst of all the trade pack piracy formula got changed. When you lose a trade pack to piracy, when it is turned in you STILL get 40% of the profit.
Dunno about Trion, but NA companies tend to err on the side of casual/carebear. Pretty disappointing if this turns out to be the case for NA ArcheAge 1.0
