You're out of your mind. First of all, you must have done absolutely nothing but quest, since pretty much every action you take in the game gives xp. You take a breath, you gain 100xp! I left my main at 44 while leveling some alts and focusing on building ships and stuff. He made the next 5 levels tending my farms and shit. When I got back to leveling him, he needed like 90k for 50. I harvested my 3 yata pens for 26k xp each. 15-20 minutes later, ding, 50. Also, you make it sound like overachieving is some big deal. It's not. I think the longest are like, kill 22 mobs instead of 15. Oooh, what a grind. And the quest are so fast. Questgiver tells you to walk 10 feet away and kill a few mobs. Bam, done. The only pain in the ass thing about leveling is the pants on head retarded mana regen now.I can understand thinking that at such a low level, but it's 100% false. AA is just as grindy if not more so than any other game especially Wildstar. You are required to over achieve on every single quest. If you do not, you will be in the same position that I was, grinding out the last level or so purely on the 100+ kill quests that give you honor points. At least in Wildstar (again, they both suck in the leveling department) you can skip those bullshit quests and still have way more than needed to go from area to area without having to grind levels.
Both are great games, but my god, why do game devs think players like these kinds of leveling experiences? At this point just give us camps and double the respawn / xp gained and let us group and grind, it's so much more enjoyable than solo grinding in the form of lame as fetch quests.
Property tax can no longer be paid with gold. Tax certs only, which merely cost labor. Which you generate even if you don't log in. And both tax certs and labor pots can be purchased in the cash shop. The best system I could think of to curb property being permanently held is to have a system to auction property, then base weekly taxes around that number. Tweak the global tax rate based on the property turnover rate and boom, you've fixed the problem.

You claim land by placing Deeds in designated housing areas (outlined by a sort of picketed fence when you toggle your deed placement)How much "land" do you get when you claim some? You can grow items on the protected land around a farm house and make it profitable that way.ArcheAge | ArcheAge Feature Guide: Housing and Farms |
There are two sizes of farm: 8?8 meters and 16?16 meters.
houses:
. Small: 16?16 meters
. Farmhouse: 24?24 meters (a small house on a medium plot of land)
. Medium: 24?24 meters
. Large: 28?28 meters
. Mansion: 44?44 meters
stuff on your land can't be stolen by anyone. Yes you can have a profitable farm very easy. Homes aren't generally built to be profitable (It's not like you can set up an cotton farm and then an automated textile mill in a house.)
