Do you know if I can effectively plvl a low level character with this?
Check my edits , it'd be worth looking into, takes a bit of math to get right though.

a level 44 group of mobs is the most efficient for this setup (depending on the amount of people you have doing it. Lvl 43 mobs don't give xp to a lvl 49. (6 level no xp range)

If you can clear a pack of 8 and move onto the next group all in less than ~45 seconds you're outpacing questers at that point.

Yeah, our housing situation is both awesome and terrible. We did an amazing job on the land grab, but sorting it out is going to be nasty.

I really gotta figure out what I'm doing. I have 4 properties now, and I won't be able to keep the tax certs up on them:
-My 2 small farms in YnY are in use, and destroying them wouldn't allow me to place anything larger anyways, due to layout. If I removed them to save on the tax certs (your fourth property double taxes), then I wouldn't have anything to grow crops on.
-I have a small house in YnY as well, but I don't care about it. I'd replace it with my large farm to at least use it, but I'd probably end up having to uproot it anyways as we go around reorganizing. I could pass it off to another guildie to save me certs, but then I'd be giving up the one "larger" claim I have in YnY, since people will be ripping up small farms left and right.
-My farmhouse is in Windscour, and I kinda hate the location (arid with bugged NPCs), but I don't want to tear it down because it'll be better than nothing (given that odds of getting my farmhouse into YnY are pretty slim).

I really just want the two properties, but don't feel I can uproot anything currently, until we get everything sorted out and scooted together.

I was more asking whether they had a system to check the damage done and reduce the XP if you just tagged a mob and a high level annihilated it.

I didn't know there was a buff on packs of >8 mobs that aggro'd you. Did they put that in just to stop AE farming?

You can skip it if you want. If you want crafted gear, or to make your own boat, etc, you'll need to at least be gathering materials to hand to crafters if nothing else. If you farm a shit ton of gold you might could just buy what you needed. A house is really nice for crafter, but if you don't care about farmville and crafting, meh. It just gives you another teleport spot, and those are all over the place.

Oh I do it all the time, Homies on my foxes for days.. I shoot one arrow get full xp (need to do 50% of the dmg to get loot though)

May need to double check it. Even if it's -10% for assited killing it's still worthwhile if the TTK(clearspeed) is under 45sec per pull.

Ideally, if you could find a nice group of 1 star mobs. You could effectively double the rate and maybe cut leveling down to 15min/lvl depending on saturation and # of players PL'ing.

This will be my primary method for solo leveling on my PLD when I get the hammer AE (sword/board)

I don't think it's hugely critical at an individual level. Put into simple terms having a large farm just gives you a daily supply of revenue. I don't know how many minutes it would take for a new level 50 to generate as much revenue as a large farm generates in a 24 hour period though.

With archeum from coin purses/gear DE'ing being a thing now from mobs. I'd imagine any active farming from a large farm having trouble competing against an active AE coin-purse grinder.

Passive income however is where a large farm would excel, especially from cost effective self replenishing things like bay leaves.

Cows were king here... but they got nerfed *sadface

1.) You don't need to sub to this game it's F2P (need to sub to own land, and to use the AH, can buy a pass for AH though)

2.) They removed access to the end-game pvp area and portions of PVE

As far as I can tell, this game will struggle to retain a subscribing population with the above 2 contingencies in place.

Edit: #3.) I'm speculating right now that PRX is going to completely roll the PVP scene to the point of server extinction if left unchecked.

Removed it for the entire game, it was in alpha etc... no clue what they're thinking tbh. Probably want to stop PRX from busting a nut on Auroria day 1.

This one's for Tuco and the rest of PRX, so you know what to expect when I hit 50 (I'm comin to get it):

The coordination within PRX is second to none. Best I've ever seen. If we're not the first guild with a fully decked out castle then something went very very wrong.

I'm a little disappointed and relieved they blocked Auroria. If it was open right now we'd be pushing to be the first guild to get a castle and would probably get it. But since it's not we can be much more relaxed and just work on leveling, crafting, building PRX village etc.

But seriously, we want to win, to be the best - but more than that, we want a good fight, a good challenge. Straight up honest - I actually share your fear.

We had a couple of PK'ers show up in our village the other day. A group of 3 30-somethings against a solo 20-something. A couple of other 20-somethings were nearby, so we were even numbered, but still out leveled. We fought a little. Then 5 minutes later, we had like 10 PRX'ers. They never came back after that. I mean, they were shitty gankers, and gankers always run when the odds aren't overwhelmingly in their favor, but it's going to be a pretty consistent story for a bit. "Don't fuck with that dude, he'll bring his 800 guildmates down upon us".

We need a good fight. People are jonesing for it.

Speaking of PVP - what's there to start actual East vs West PVP? What's out there that we can fight for? Can we lay down houses on the opposing continent if we wanted (not that it'd be smart)?

Halcyona pvp events flip on the regular, unfortunately with PRX's apparent population advantage if you guys field more than 20 people that shit is going to be a Resurrection shrine camp.

the best way to keep the game fun for you guys is drama - need some internal strife and factions to break offf within prx to create some entertainment. My suggestion is take some inspiration from professional wrestling.
Like for example if tuco was hulk hogan, then suddenly became hollywood hogan the pirate, fighting against broman and his prx/lawfulgood faction, that shit would be fun
