Hope you are right but I doubt it. They've been open about the fact they try to keep it cheap so they can blow the budget on the huge action scenes. The amount of work/money/time it would take for that montage to be standalone is insane by their standards.

Yeah, my first thought about it was that was all just Archer imagining the possibilities of what the chance could mean but wasn't a season preview.

also, I believe there was some talk of getting thrown a bone....

Part of that 3 minutes showed up on the commercials for the next episode. and they are playing the shit out of those commercials. saw it 4 times while watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes last night.

The creator did an interview for AV Club and he said that yeah, he intended it as a kind of preview for the season, like a trailer.

Could be good if they do that, wakes up from a coma or something and goes on another rampage(minus the cancer) but this time it lasts all season.
