Just got announced this morning.


Victorian London, something of a Gangs of New York vibe to it, two protagonists that you can swap between, a grapple gun, and no multiplayer.

The fact that they opened the video by talking about how they screwed the pooch with Unity, as well as the fact that they aren't wasting resources on multiplayer, gives me some slight optimism, but I guess we'll see how it pans out.

I will say that I like the weapon selection they showed off here, and how it fits with the time period. I was kinda worried they were going to continue with the idea of the character openly walking around with a small arsenal, as in the previous games. That more-or-less works in medieval and Renaissance settings, but that shit wouldn't fly in London in the 1860s, and it's nice to see that sort of thing taken into account.

And the fact it doesn't have multiplayer means they are probably shitting this pile of shit reskin out in 14 months.

Anytime a new AC hits, I will plug in Black Flag and play that instead.

Rogue was amazing, it would have been better if the main campaign was longer and if it was on next gen. IMO it's damn close to black flag and I clearly understand why some folks would call it better. Both are great games you need to play.

I liked Rogue better as an Assassin's Creed game and because it improved on the already great ship combat mechanics in Black Flag. I can understand why people would prefer things in Black Flag like the Caribbean Pirate setting, less focus on a regular assassin's creed story or even the last gen graphics of Rogue. Black Flag was the best pirate simulator I've played that also happened to be an Assassin's creed game. They could probably split off and make some pirate boat games if they wanted but that would require a new IP, which these big companies are unfortunately reluctant to do. As for Syndicate, I'm looking forward to it. Ubisoft will probably make a much more enjoyable Victorian England game than The Order 1886. As always never pre-order and wait for the release to be stabilized.

That makes me more excited. Fuck the multiplayer trophies. I've tried to platinum these games, but can't stomach the multiplayer stuff. The co-op may have been cool in Unity, but I skipped that one due to negative feedback. Overall, these games have become very bland to me unless they do something to change up the formula.

game is out tomorrow. reviews seem fairly middle of the road so far, metacritic is around 80 right now and I'd expect it to stay there. My game arrives tomorrow and I'll be playing this weekend, always have a soft spot in my heart for AC. PS4 and Xbox One are 900p upscaled, the PC version will be the definitive one but its not out till late November by which time everyone is gonna be balls deep into Fallout 4 and Battlefront.

Pirate was great!
Unity, who played this shitty game?
Syndicate... should be good? i'm waiting for reviews PC ver. (biggest doubts are it's the same team that made the Indian Assassin)
