Also, this conversation reminded me that as of Thor 1, Asgard had the gauntlet. It was just an easter egg at the time but it was there. How did thanos get it after avengers 2? Sure, Loki is in control of Asgard, so he could have just given it to him to appease his "mistakes," but that doesn't really fit Loki's character. It would really be great if instead of dumping so much money into TV shows that mostly don't connect with current MCU happenings, if they spent some time and energy on actually fleshing out some stories. Agents of shield really needed to be about the team dealing with the movies, from a different perspective. Have some time devoted to finding banner. Have time devoted to finding Bucky. The movies spend so much time expositing future movies. Cut that and put it in the show. The show doesn't even need to know they are looking for Bucky. Black operative contacts them for a favor, queue side story shenanigans that pulls them in, drop off new info to falcon and move on to next thing. Have sif ask them for help investigating murders in Asgard as they are outsiders. Turns out you see just how mortal these immortals are plus sets up the gauntlet being "taken"
