Yeah, The Needle sucks. The Green Deck is probably the best choice to play with Red Card because Green Deck rewards earning and spending money (as opposed to Gold, which is more about hoarding).

If you want to semi reliably beat 8 ante with any deck you go for +Stacking chips joker, 1-2 +Stacking Mult joker, 1-2 xMult /xStacking Mult joker and always play 1 type of hand if you can that has synergies with the jokers you pick. It's also almost never better to skip blinds for whatever it offers (even polychrome jokers) to build economy instead. You can also get legendary jokers that nuke boss blinds, but idk how to reliably get them as I've only had them pop from spectral packs.
I've had the most success playing high card/pair/two pair builds for my multi-million score hands though I've won with all except for 5 of a kind/royal flush/4 of a kind as they are too hard to stack without getting really lucky with spectral packs changing your deck massively. Also the voucher that gives -1 hand/-1 ante is really solid to help you get another round of scaling so if you're passing it up I recommend not doing so if feasible.
If you get to the point where you can comfortably beat ante 8 you need to build very specifically to go higher.
I'm at the 16 hour mark with 15-20 jokers left to unlock though idk how I'll be able to do some of them like 100M chips or gold sticker every joker <_<

A lot like real poker in that regard; some luck, some skill. Knowing what synergizes with what can really help out, although if you keep getting dealt shit hands/Jokers, there is only so much you can do.
When I play, I usually try to just go with the flow of whatever the game gives me and try to see what I can learn. For me, it's way more fun as a chill game than as a competitive "look at my high score" game, although you do have the option of pushing past Ante 8 and getting the achievements if you want to.

I wish this had a cloudsave to sync between phone and Steam.
It works great on the phone but sometimes it would be nice to use it on the PC and Steam Deck, not going to unlock everything again on them.
I have now beat the game with 4 decks I think. So progress is being made!

Yeah this is very true, whenever I play the game some runs I just get really lucky with jokers that give me the kind of multipliers I need. Still, luck of the draw is just a natural part of Poker, and I like this game as an offline approach to the game where it isn't just play hold em against some AI players.
