an hour after release for me:Well all major releases blast steams servers…so I’m guessing he’s using…history of all major releases?
Millions of people DLing a 122gb game at the same minute upon release is a much bigger strain than joe blows across the country with staggered time zones and staggered work release times updating their 12mb update to whatever game they play may or may not have had an update that day.
Vulcan is usually better so long as you're not crashing. Less over head and/or more direct access to the hardware than DX usually nets it more FPS.Technical question, with a 4090, win 11, should I play with DX11 or Vulcan? I've always just used Vulcan for the EA since it's the default, but now with a new computer is DX11 different/better?
Yeah would be cool to see it. Somehow these people reported out on steams bandwidth so it must exist somewhere, unless they reached out to steam directly for the article.an hour after release for me:

I'm betting overall bandwidth will be higher in primetime USA.
Would be cool to see global bandwidth usage from Steam, or some other metric to quantify how big of a clusterfuck BG3's release is to Steam servers
