Not me if its filled with more woke retardation like 5 was. Also they need to drop the gameplay changes they made with BF1 going forward.BF6 will actually have people playing it though.
Nah, not really. Blackout was dying and Apex had actually worked with some shooter people in its downlow development (shroud was one, i think Doc even had some input before launch) so as soon as it came out these big players were already invested and they didn't even had to #Ad them. It was basically a BR gift from the Gods as Blackout was stagnant as fuck and PUBG was circling the drain pretty fast.Didn't they also spend massive amounts of $$$ paying large numbers of popular streamers to pump that game?
Do they have credits for their work on Apex?Blackout was dying and Apex had actually worked with some shooter people in its downlow development (shroud was one, i think Doc even had some input before launch) so as soon as it came out these big players were already invested and they didn't even had to #Ad them.
Not sure. Here's an article on it from 2019 though, just mentions Shroud specifically.Do they have credits for their work on Apex?
Unless they are actually credited as working on the game they are nothing more than obfuscated PR. I would not trust anything streamers say as they are all bought and paid for by developers looking to become the next big thing. Not sure. Here's an article on it from 2019 though, just mentions Shroud specifically.

Former CS:GO pro Shroud helped develop Apex Legends’ weapon recoil
The battle royale very nearly had randomised weapon recoil.www.pcgamesn.com
Dude is a mega douche.Regarding Apex, Shroud just said they brought him in to look at an early build and get gave some input. Sounds like a pseudo guest consultant
BF5 was a shitshow from a cheating standpoint and it absolutely ruined the game. Unless they seriously overhaul how they deal with cheaters, this is a hard fucking pass.
I mean sometimes they can hardware ban via identifying your mobo or harddrive information. (I'm a luddite forgive me terminology) But for the most hardcore cheaters, they actually can spoof even that. Does slow down most of them. I've avoided most of the mainstream shooters these days, so I dont know how bad it is. I know back in the day on COD it ruin a match/lobby for a bit, but that's why I miss admined private servers. But even in public was easy enough to just hop around.I don't see how.
Some company like to mass-ban cheaters accounts with warden, but they buy another copy of the game 1 hour after their account closed. (and give more money to the company)
Unless devs find a new way to deal with cheaters online, like some kind of voodoo magic in the netcode, you will never see a game without hackers.
I think private servers with good tools, may help but it's not gonna happen.
I'm not naive enough to think that hackers will never exist. I understand you're going to run into occasional cheaters in an online world - hell, I ran into plenty during the Tribes 1/2, UT2K, etc. days. I still occasionally deal with an obvious aim-botter in Apex. The difference is that BF5 had 1 or more cheaters in literally every fucking game I joined.Unless devs find a new way to deal with cheaters online, like some kind of voodoo magic in the netcode, you will never see a game without hackers.

Poor xXxMAGAxXx would get booted out of every game thenIf only they had a way to vote people out of games
