It's totally obvious to me that Assault Rifles are complete trash right now. If you're a 'run & gun' player like me, you should be using SMG's (PP-29 is the best gun at short/med even semi-long range).
Do yourself a favor if you haven't bought this game yet. Don't do it. (Not yet anyway)

Something was bothering me about the AC42 assault rifle and it's rate of fire. Can someone check my math and tell me what I'm missing. I know ROF can be weird with gun people, but there's no way the functional output of the AC42 is 1200 RPM. (Only if you, have all 1200 rounds loaded at once)

True, but seems like bad map design to have it play out where that many people are coming up that funnel. Or maybe they dont know the map and realize theres another route.

Everyone who died to that boat was an AI. You can see [AI] after their name. And having that many AI means that dude was playing from the fucking moon or was running a co-op game against bots.

Yeah I am not enjoying this shit at all. Portal is fucking amazing though.
The 128 all out warfare fucking sucks. The only way that would be fun is if you have a squad of buddies to link with and use vehicles and teamwork. Sadly you cant have more than 3 people play together LOL.
No scoreboard is like........Im not even sure. If you plan on...you know trying to play this like a regular FPS......dont. You will just end up running for four plus minutes or risk being a target in a vehicle to travel, then you will most likely end up dying the second you get into a firefight as there are at least 4 to 5 people camping up in a high spot, or spamming vehicles to control a hot spot. You almost cant have an effect on foot as one man. I mean you can for small windows of time, but overall you need to use vehicle or literally get left behind.

Squads are 4 people and you can play with 4 people. There's no traditional scoreboard, but if you hit TAB you can see a run down of your stats, your squads stats, and a summary of the top squads' stats.
Unlocked the Bolte last night. Not only is it a fucking LIGHT vehicle so you can spam it, it gets the 30mm obliterator gun for the Top Gunner and the driver can get seeking missiles. It's an absolute monster of a vehicle. Makes some of the slower shit seem dumb. I've still got to level up the toaster and the Wildcat to see how the 60mm Mortar plays.
This game is 100% vehicle combat until you can't get a vehicle, then you just make do. Shroud was hitting on it earlier that they got balance backwards. AR's are best hipfired close range and SMG's are best spraying perfectly at mid-long range. Their decision to use bloom really fucked everything up.

After playing quite a few hours the past 2 days I don't get the hate either, and some aspects of this game are just awesome. Subregions of a Conquest map are basically entire levels of other similar shooters. For instance, running around securing the points on the oil rig is fucking nuts.
I really do think that if they're going to have maps this big with teams this size they need to add some kind of commander role.
