I love the simple things being broken like extended mags giving the same amount of ammo despite listing double in the stat screens or them "fixing" the revolver to only give 5 rounds and not 6. I got the game for free and I've had fun but this is a 70 dollar alpha test. Some of the specialist are just awful Rao's hacking ability takes too fucking long and Casper is just better all around, Dozer the shield guy would be busted if they had any infantry maps and you couldn't airdrops tanks on the top of skyscrapers to guard elevators.
I took the survey they sent out and shit on map design when they asked why I rated this so poorly, the call down system is dumb too, I miss capturing important points cause they gave extra vehicle access, it was a way to turn the tide. Imagine not having any vehicles spawns if you lost the ground cap in a breakthrough cause you were all camping the roof.

Actually console has way less bugs and the game still fucking sucks. And most people running into issues have PC’s that are running this with full effects on decent gaming rigs so let’s knock it off with the white knighting.
Also your feedback means Jack and Shit since the entire development team of this across many components just got fucking nuked from orbit since it was the only way to be sure.

Even your most basic mouth-breathing simp has high speed internet, and I bet majority of players who took the plunge on this by way of PC dont have shitty rigs man. That sounds like a faggot cop out. The game is a MASSIVE fucking disappointment that just had its creative lead being replaced with the guy who pioneered the entire modern FPS multiplayer industry.
They literally went back to square one. Thats 3 straight misses now with battlefield IMO, V 1 and now 2042 all disappointing for different reasons. The only good thing is maybe Zampella will stick around and make something special for the next iteration. By the time it comes out we will be almost halfway through the PS5 life cycle (3 1/2 years) so EA should have everything they need in order to get this shit back on track. Whats sad is Call of Duty is floundering and shit out a fucking turd with Vanguard and they still couldnt capitalize.
If the next BF title sucks its probably over for the franchise as we know it.

Dude, BF1 was good. It had the best sniping mechanics, atmosphere and soundstage of any BF game. It just needed more weapon variety and a bolt-action only mode. It still holds up really well today and is still quite popular.

Anyone outside of city limits are fucked and usually have some type of satellite high ping shit that is unusable most of the time. Most people in my home town have this as their only option if they have internet at all and many go to Mcdonald's, Starbucks, etc. to get things done if they have to. It's that bad.

Nah BF1 was pretty damn good man. Not sure what your beef with that was. Even initial release was OK.
Lot's of towns (Like mine) have one provider. You get Comcast which is expensive as fuck (I pay 110 a month for just internet 1000/25). Or you get shitty ass satellite. Or god forbid. DSL. Our local mall has what I guess is free WIFI, since I see some kids with laptops playing LOL quite often.

it is bizarre because NOBODY outside of small shit like Squad or those mil-sim games do large team, large map shooters and its a space DICE/Battlefield held for decades but they are pissing it all away to chase after the space that is fully controlled by COD, Fortnite, Halo, R6, Overrwatch, CSGO, Valorant, pubg, etc.

I was hoping it was Halo Infinite but even their big map mode isn't really that great and nothing like bf4. I could see COD 2022 doing it, the team behind Modern Warfare has been working on it for 2 years now and I can't imagine they just wanna do another COD+Warzone+Zombies.

Zampella being at the helm is a good thing IMO. After his Respawn phase and Titanfall and everything else, maybe now it gives him a chance to go back to HIS roots as well. I was very surprised when I heard they hired him to take over Battlefield franchise. They admitted they were fucked and asked for real help.
