This video gives a lot more detail on the changes coming to the game. Some of them are quite big, such as having to interact with ammo crates/health packs to heal. Only auto-healing a certain percentage.
Spotting changes, etc. I think they would have gotten a better response with this rather than that train wreck of a presentation we saw.

If they made it an alt-history WW2 kinda like Man in the High Castle style, that would be pretty badass. Secret Weapons of WW2 expansion pack style, except on a larger scale.
Well in Europe that is odd. My grandfather was a Marine scout in the Pacific and carried around a Katana he got from a Japanese Major, a throwing hatchet, Thompson, a 1911 sidearm, and a rifle (after my grandmother died and before he died, he really started to open up a lot more about his time there). He lost the Katana at Pellilu, though, after he almost died and he thinks someone took it from him when they loaded him up for the hospital ship.

The mechanics vid I posted has some interesting mechanics they are changing. I'll try the beta but probably will not buy until a big sale.

That trailer was pretty fucking cringe in many different ways.
Honest question though, how does it play? If it plays good I might overlook all the bullshit retcon alternate universe bullshit.
But if they are putting SocJus in a their game and are using Trevor Noah to present it, I have to believe that their priorities lie elsewhere.

Bionic hands aside, there were plenty of instances where women did actively fight in WW2 (although obviously not on anywhere near the scale of men). Eastern front probably saw the most. It also wasn't unheard of in the French resistance.
That being said, you guys get fucking triggered too easily. I don't give a fuck if they put full drag queens in the game if the gameplay and mechanics are solid. Plus, tactically in these games, smaller frame = smaller target and easier to hide visually behind objects.

You say this as someone who randomly posts random pretty freakout level TDS stuff, so I don't think it's accurate to act like only one group is the one knee jerking.
I think if someone wanted ti Lithose it up could outline and point out a dozen examples of recent gaming stuff very visibly going SJW. From Blizzard with overwatch comments, some of the magic drama, warhammer 40k of all things has gotten hot and heavy with the PC crowd and are releasing some like safe for 5 year olds warhammer comics that feature main character androgenous muslim tweens who dont believe in using weapons in the most violent gaming universe ever. Battletech, mass effect : Andromeda, to a small degree BF1 when it released. etc etc. This is without even diving into movies like Star wars and especially solo with writer/director whoevers talking about lando being a pansexual and really wishing theyd been able to have a more directly/bigger LBGT character than that.

Some of the the stuff they are pushing really makes it sound like teamwork is a must to win, however, we will see how that plays out. Also, why didn't they go over this shit instead of bringing out that doucher Trevor to make cringe level jokes.
If you haven't watched jack frags or the vid I linked watch them to see the features of the game. It really does sound interesting and if they would have talked about it they might have gotten a better reception.

Team work always a must to win in BF, usually just ended up being a single squad or server regulars carrying the rest of the mouth breathers to a win.

BC2 is the only one I ever played and I had so much fun that I didn't even care about the random hackers.
If that was gameplay ( I assume single player mission or coop or some shit ) in the trailer then it might just be too busy for someone like me. If I was 20 years younger I would love it. That shit just had too much going on for someone like me anymore.
