I miss that, had bought a few cases of the cards like right as game was dying. As complicated as it was, I'd just play vs myself as sad as that was.

It was a pretty decent game, few people gave it a chance since, at the time, it was just dismissed as "not magic." Main problem people who did play the game seemed to have with it was the die rolls. Dice did a pretty good job of murdering CCGs in the 90s :)

Makes me regret selling them. We have the technology with that steam "game simulator" which you can use to play any card/board game. Several options like this I believe. Kinda like when .... oracle? or whatever first came out for magic. No game "rules forcing" the game to play right. You just both know rules and plunk your shit down. Meaning you can get someone make a mistake and have to chat it out with them etc.

The embargo is off for streamers and Youtubers, and a lot of them have been given advance copies. Lots of new video/vod content out there to consume until this finally releases next week.

I watched about half of Cohh's videos and I gotta say I am hyped as fuck for this. I did not expect that many features when I backed the game on kickstarter, especially the infinite endgame. My only gripe is that the graphics seem a little... drab. Maybe it was just the maps I saw.

The graphics aren't the best thing ever true, but it can look pretty nice at times. The night missions with the spotlights on the mechs can look pretty cool for example.

Then again, it's also a strategy game, I don't need it look as nice as the new God of War or something. As long as I can put A/C 20s onto an assault mech and the game is fun, I'm happy.

Dude ^^ really isn't too bright. Has a pilot with Multishot (can fire at up to 3 targets, assuming you have that many weps) so he keeps using it when he really shouldn't, completely spreading his damage out, and says "This ability is stupid, all I'm doing is spreading my damage out". There isn't a PicardPalm big enough.

I'm probably just jealous he has a copy to play.

Just wasn't paying attention/didnt really care, it's more that I wish I'd supported Harebrained. Kickstarters/early access is generally a huge scam, but there are a handful of studios that are on the level with it.

Too much SJW infestation at HBS for me to consider supporting them. At least they finally changed the character their batshit insane design lead named after Michelle Perez, but the game itself would have to be vastly better than any of their Shadowrun games (HK was by far the best but I still wouldn't give it more than about a 7.5 score) to get me to look at it.

Email from them with codes..... for discount in store and other useless shit. Got me prematurely excited, though again I have to temper expectations since I have dawn to dusk busy week testing w/ various agencies.
