Tried to watch this out of curiosity and it sucks. I don't necessarily blame the new actress. She's a step up from Ruby Rose acting. However the changes to the story just are forced and sloppy. The main problem this show has is the supporting cast is easily the worst of all CW shows. You are relying on the Batwoman character for the draw and now that is tainted.

CW needs a new format for these shows or they need to go away.

its to tiresome to invest the time into a 20 episode season when so much of it is filler/fluff/nothing.

Not sure there's a huge overlap in the demographics, but when your show is tanking, excuses are bound to follow.

at least she looks like a woman and not a 14 yr old boy. they could probably make the show work if she was the original star and not a sloppy second. of course it would work a lot better if herr character didnt tick all the diversity boxes. minority, gay, wrongfully convicted, nothing earned and she becomes powerful from the suit. they really shot this show in the foot and it doesnt have a chance of becoming a beloved series.

Just watched ep1 with the new batgirl. She's 100x better than ruby rose. I like that they didn't get rid of alice. I was worried that once she was defeated she'd go away like most badguysoftheseason do on CW shows.
