These aren't buzzwords, they're just part of a technical vocabulary which is commonplace in any academic field. Feel read the wiki and share your thoughts. but a PhD, short of an honorary doctorate or Doctor of Science, is the highest education one can receive. It's per se the definition of highly educated.

I know, I just gave you a general idea of what discipline the PhD is in. There are further specifics but then it would necessitate technical and specialist description. Why this made you angry is beyond me.
I'm sure a lot of PhD work isn't really the most stellar contributions to human knowledge- like Art History, Womens studies etc. but I'm in a cool and progressive field. And my PhD is a well-researched genuine contribution to knowledge. I could explicitly explain how and why that is if I thought I'd be greeted with anything more than more spergy hand-wringing.

You dodging answering a fairly basic question about your field leads me to believe that you are either lying or your research involves doing linear regression on a sample size of about 4 and then drawing whatever conclusions you want from it.

I simply answered what sort of discipline my thesis was in with a wiki link. If you're inferring insidious motives from that I have no idea what to say. If you want more specificity, then simply ask. What more do you want to know? My research question? What each chapter addresses? What's the contribution to knowledge? What thinkers I interact with? The outstanding controversies in the field?

Ok, some more specificity. There are three current versions of enactivism (part of that 4E paradigm): There's the classical version which was proposed in the 1991 book The Embodied Mind, and two later versions which narrowed the focus to perception and minimal cognition, respectively.
My thesis is an attempt to forge a fourth version. What does that entail, specifically? I move it a bit further away from the information-processing paradigm by making disambiguating its key criterion of difference (difference between information and biological meaning).

So you took some graduate classes, passed your comprehensive exams, and are writing a dissertation (fancy name for a long ass review paper that most likely will end up in a desk someplace never to be seen or cited again).
