I have seen it described as a mix of Medieval Dynasty, Mount and Blade, and 7 Days to Die. Those are three games I have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of but a lot of people are leery of this developer as they have apparently been known to abandon projects. Anyone playing it?

It's a very rough Early Access game. As long as it doesn't wind up in the Abandoned Bin, it has a lot of potential. Way too early to tell if it will ever actually meet that potential or how long that would take. Not quite scam level yet, but can still go either way. You'd probably be better off for now playing Enshrouded.

It basically plays more like a colony sim than anything, IMO. Just with 3d and the ability to fight your own battles/combat. I think the game has a really good foundation, but there are a LOT of annoying QOL issues and AI problems they need to correct before it's ready for the big time.

I picked up Enshrouded when it was on sale but I was planning to let them work on content a little more before I jump in. Looks solid.

Yeah but I love games with a lot of variety. All the elements combine together to give more depth and keep the gameplay loops feeling fresh.

Another one of the games I have been watching with a big update today. I am really hopeful for this one. Reviews describe it as a mix of Mount and Blade, Medieval Dynasty, 7 Days to Die, and The Guild. Schwing!

Of the "1st person colony sims" out there, this one is definitely the best I've played so far.

NPC functions are fairly straightforward, the bandit mechanics are kinda fun, the storyline isn't amazing but has some intriguing moments, etc.

It feels like playing Farthest Frontier in first person. It's definitely EA, but I enjoyed it far more than Soul Mask and ASKA.

there sure hasn’t been much in terms of updates that’s for sure. That games…okay? I guess? I prefer medieval Dynasty as well as the new Sengoku Dynasty much more.

they are dealing with a “million dollar lawsuit” that Pokémon fans said was coming and would shut them down…which ended up being like only $70k and even that is over some pretty shaky things they say they have the rights to but probably don’t.

I bought MD early in EA and came back to it multiple times. I do find that it still becomes a little tedious late game still needs some work on progression balance. All in all, a pretty good game.
