I played a ton of SF2 on SNES. Of that list I loved Golden Axe the most.

I also loved San Fransisco street rush. There was like 16 of these things linked at the arcade in Pasadena when I was a teen.

No Asteroids?
No Battlezone?
No Defender?
No Tempest?

God damn you kids have no appreciation for how good you have it now. (Get off my virtual lawn!)

we all don't have one foot in the grave to remember actually playing those games in the arcade.

Galaga is the clear winner on that list.

Dragons lair was utter shit. What did it cost like a dollar for 30 seconds of play before you died? I wasted like 5 bucks on that game total

Where I worked, servicing the machines, back in the mid 90's we had a pair of these.

Linked together, the polygon graphics might look dated now, but they gave you a very real feeling 3D landscape and the frame rate was super fast for the day.

It felt good cleaning or working on it as it kinda felt like F1 technology.

For reference Ferrari F1 car.

Who doesn't remember going to the arcade and seeing Dragon's Lair for the first time.

And the subsequent "What the everliving fuck is this!" after you throw an entire dollar in and get maybe 10 seconds of "gameplay". I remember not even being sure that what I "played" wasn't just another part of the attract reel. That shit felt like highway robbery for my young arcade-going self.

Starcade was a den of lies!

i sucked at fighting games but loved
pacman, Gauntlet and Rygar

i was good at asteroids & tempest also

for gauntlet and rygar, a dollar would last about 2 or more hrs. i could finish rygar and gauntlet i was very good at(could last an hr or more on a quarter)

Never got the love of that game for a arcade. It’s fine on a console you own but yeah fuck that. I did it once and went back to Mortal Kombat/ Street fighter / Guantlet

X men from that list. Dragon Slayer was mind blowing at first sight.
This game chewed up a bunch of my quarters back in the day.
