Binge Worthy Shows 2019

I need a new show or I'll have to re-watch something. I'm trying to get into the Punisher Season 2 but so far meh.

I'm up to date on Game of Thrones. Last thing I think I binged based on FoH recommendation was Spartacus which I really liked a lot.
I tried Rome but didn't get into it.

Should I try Walking Dead again? Never got into it, tried twice. I've seen Dr Who through David Tennant and a bit of Matt whoever. Saw Dark Matter and The Expanse.

Anything fairly recent that's must watch other than GoT?

Other option is re-watching Sopranos or Breaking Bad.

I tried right after Spartacus. I might have been Rome'd out at the time.

Rome is good, but the first couple episodes were kind of whatever. Walking Dead is trash tier.

I mean, I'd recommend the following to anyone:

Deadwood
The Wire
Fargo
The Last Kingdom
The Terror
Peep Show
Madmen
Barry
Get Shorty (TV show not movie)

None of those are really secrets, but they are all about as binge-worthy as it gets. I've got more but if you haven't seen all of those you should.

Yeah I mean by 3 or 4 eps in you should like Rome.

And you reminded me- if you haven't seen the first four or so seasons of Archer that's a must for sure.

Yes loved Deadwood. Loved early Archer stuff.
Saw the Wire and Mad Men.
None of the others on your list. i'll have a look or maybe re-try Rome.
I keep seeing the Orville pop up. Saw an episode or two of that and enjoyed it but never binged.

First 2 seasons of Archer are some of the funniest things ever. Arrested Development is great, should watch that if you haven't.

There are a fair number of shows that are good for maybe half their run.

Walking dead is actually decent for S1-2. 3+ gets garbage tier quick. Decent.. it's a damn zombie show to begin with.

Hell On Wheels is actually pretty good too. It's another one, S1-2 are GREAT, 3+ are still good but not great. By the last Season they needed to end it because it was getting average.

Boardwalk empire S1-2 is great. 3+ kinda not. I mean I liked them, but they're not great.

That Raylan Givens show was the same way. S1-2 OUTSTANDING, then a slow decline. Justified, that was the name of it.

What can you say. Writers pitch an idea, they have a good story in mind. It gets popular and the money wants them to do more... all they really had was the story they had in mind but you've got to make hay when the sun is shining.

+1 for Fargo, all 3 seasons are top tier TV. Season 2 is absolutely brilliant.

Longmire gets really, really bad at the season 4 mark. Shame too because it was a great show for the first 3 or so seasons. The last season was like the last season of The Sopranos, it was complete nonsense. And the way it ends is just... lol.

Worth watching but I'd say just stop watching after season 4.
