What would you like to know?

The 25 person bust that I think you are referring to happened in central NJ recently. While it was mentioned that they used USPS to ship drugs around, it was never mentioned that Silk Road was at play. In addition it was a pretty big operation because not only did they find something along the lines of 20+ lb of weed, MDMA, LSD, mushrooms, etc, they also found $70,000 in cash and weapons. On top of all of that they seized tons of cars.

Even the two instances that I mentioned with 100+g of MDMA being intercepted, Silk Road wasn't mentioned but was assumed to due to origin of the shipment. The only mentioned bust that explicitly stated Silk Road was play that I can remember happened earlier in the year in Australia which was expected. The guy saved something along the lines of 10,000+ texts regarding his dealing activities and Australia has the toughest customs around.

I am not too fond of leaving Silk Road related material out in the open for various reasons, hence why the earlier comment is gone.
gotcha man, i was just curious thought my mind was playing tricks on me, my buddy who told me about it was coming over so i hopped on here to glance at the article and give him the details and it was gone :p

For those who are interested in playing the market via the alternative coins to increase your share of BTC, this guy does randoms pumpshttps://twitter.com/fontase
Made 20% profit from his namecoin pump today and was asleep when he did it. I just set some sell limit orders at different price points a couple of days ago and sold the remainder for about as much as I paid for them after the dump.

I hope it goes back up a bit. I bought at $120 thinking it would rebound. =x

I bought in again at 96 two days ago. It already went back up to $115 this morning.

Fontas doing a TRC pump and dump in 5-6 hours or so. (22:10 UTC)

Seems like the only way to get profit for the last few pumps has been to buy right as the announcement is made and sell about an hour or two before the pump. Selling/buying during the pump is a nightmare. I am still trying to unload my NMC from last week.

I bought in a day after his recent namecoin announcement and made money, but today's TRC pump has been a waste of time and money for me. Actually it looked as if Fontas lost money himself, since he put up a 500 BTC buy order at 0.0053 which was partially filled, then dumped the price down to 0.0048.

The safer bet might be to just buy a little of each coin to have some to sell before his next announcement.

He also had a 200 BTC wall filled at a low price. Usually the actual pumps themselves, when he starts moving coins around, do nothing.

You realize he is most likely buying in before he announces his pumping and then sells to the tards buying in because "omg he is pumping it, its going up", right?

His namecoin pump worked and made me 20% on top of my investment. Of course I am playing around with all of 1 BTC for this so I gain or lose little. I just wanted to see what would happen. If his scheme is to buy in before announcing then sell instead of spiking the price upward then I would imagine people would start ignoring him after the first time people get screwed. He did that this time or his incompetence with "a slightly different format" made him back out. Either way I'm done with this.

Cashed out 7BTC at $116.34. I'm done playing for now. I'll keep mining as long as it's profitable, but at this point, I think the journey is largely over for me.

I convinced the wife that if we invest $1,000 in bitcoins now, we will be able to buy islands next door to each other in 20 years. Yeah, bitcoin is going through some turbulent times, and may continue to do so for a long time. But I just can't see the idea behind bitcoins failing. I'm not ready to invest my life savings or anything, but this is a fun amount for me to get on the bitcoin train with.

Anyone else waste endless hours watching the chatbox on btc-e.com? If you are into bitcoins and haven't seen this gem, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Yeah I got that email yesterday, the day before I had sent $350 from mtgox to dwolla. Anyone have another service that I could use?

Has anyone bought shares in one of the ASIC mining pools? I'm wondering how to evaluate the different pools and whether it's better to withdraw or just reinvest the dividends.
