One thing is for sure, FOMO definitely goes both ways.
Pro Tip for trading (crypto or otherwise)... buy it and sit on it.

Unless you actually need to make cashflow from day trading then... well know your shit.

Where is Flobee Flobee

This is bigger news than El Sal tbh

They both launched city-shitcoins, I'm unimpressed although yea its obviously bullish. They're headed in the right direction, we all have our shitcoin phase. Bukele went all in on Bitcoin at a nationstate level, different league imo regardless of population.

I've liked this Eric Adams guy ever since he stood up for police in a city where everyone thinks you're wack if you stand up for police.

And by everyone I mean the noisiest 10% of people who spend all day on Twitter

What do you feel like it is warning you about?
Nothing specifically for me, I dont play with pogs.

You think governments getting involved in crypto is going to improve the crypto situation? You think governments are gonna let their retarded flock get ripped off left and right by shitcoin after shitcoin once government is involved in crypto? And remember these politicians have zero understanding about crypto so when they go to start writing laws and regulations and appointing regulators that totally wont be bad for crypto either.

LOL, Shib rebounds from 4650 to 5200 since I stepped out. This is comical. I'll buy back in when I get home and it'll be 5600 then, and immediately plummet, moving my baseline from 7200 to 8200 in the process.

I know what's gonna happen in advance now, but it only happens if I do it. This is the cross I bear

Rajaah Rajaah SHIB needs to clear and prove to hold the ~5600 level to have any upward strength. Otherwise, this is just a lower high.. likely followed by lower lows.

I own 0 crypto anything. Just looking at a chart for a technical perspective. Save your money for something with upward momentum.

Oh the ripping off will still continue, except it wont be nobodies ripping each other off. It will turn into Nancy Pelosi types ripping off the world.

I wouldnt be surprised if the powers that be use crypto as an issue to further consolidate the power of the global homos under the guise of crypto being a global currency/concern/issue thus requiring a global solution.

Yeah 100%. I think governments getting involved in crypto was inevitable and necessary for mainstream adoption. Just like I think some regulation is necessary for mainstream adoption. The idea that there would be some populist driven BTC revolution that rendered government influence in monetary policy obsolete was always laughable to me.

I definitely think that evolving to a crypto-based system has significant tangible benefits from removing middle men, to reducing the power of banks, to empowering average people, to minting a lot of new millionaires and billionaires who got in early on a new asset class, to improving the overall experience of monetary transactions, to granting new opportunities for developing nations, etc etc.

But none of that stuff was going to happen without at least some buy in from powerful institutions, including governments. Anyone who slept through Psychology 101 should know that.

I think it's something totally different. I think municipalities are just competing to be the next big innovation/tech hub, now that the luster of SF has gone, and you'll see a lot of tech-virtue signaling to show that a given city is a safe-space for tech investment. Crypto just happens to be the techiest thing on people's minds, but in a few months or a year, you'll see similarly tone-def tweets about how the new Boise mayor is going to hold his first town hall meeting with the metaverse, etc.

Everyone wants to be hip, especially when hip means potential investment dollars pouring into their city.
