Do you have a TRI Capotia to use the crystal stuff on?

Yea, claim the Pass stuff, since you'll get two stones that will guarantee a pen armor or won, and one for an accessory.

You'll prolly be spending more time outside the Desert than in it, so grab the Peggy. You can always get a camel from a quest later.
Yeah I have on TRI, turns out I never reached 62 last time but you get one just for existing or something so I'll upgrade that one with the fishes tomorrow and I'll upgrade the ring for lvl 62 once I start playing seriously with the 21 daillies crystals. I'm not gonna do the season pass much just I got a few rewards just fucking around and didn't check if I could grab them on someone else before claiming but I guess the char bound stuff is just for the season char(inventory slots and what not). Just cashing in the rewards from this season and mostly planning on playing next one in a month or so.

I have a camel already back when I last played I did a bunch of those desert quests like the whole questline in there and stuff, so yeah might not bother with dine, I'll see I guess no big rush to choose.

Man installing this game is taking fucking forever, I hate how Steam takes years decoding files or whatever the fuck it's doing. Thought I'd get it done quickly but it's probably been an hour just installing after it's done downloading(which itself took a while cause the game's like 55gb but that's not that bad).

Seems I had sent various twitch shit rewards to the wrong account too so that's not great but well, it is what it is, I would have needed to log in to claim most of it before expiration dates anyway so not a huge deal.

Edit: Got my shit setup, hit 20 on seasonal and got a pen capotia piece, now fishing for the stuff to get the 2nd piece, straightforward stuff so far no issue. There's so much garbage in all my various inventories though gonna be a pain in the ass to sort through all that crap eventually.

Couple questions, the season pass rewards, you can only claim them on the season char right? So might as well claim everything.

And for the free dream horse, which one would be better for general purpose? Pegasus? Since it flies it seemed like the most interesting but not sure about the one that goes fast and does fire things.
Peggy is the best "all-rounder" horse, yeah.

If you care about Valencia spots at all or doing content there, Dine is definitely nice to have and a huge QOL upgrade. Dine is also really nice if you're a lower Sycraia enjoyer, so that you don't have to fuck with boats. If you don't care about those things, go Peggy. If you PvP constantly, go Doom.

Dine could be a nice lifeskilling mount if you want to head out to the desert to gather often for stone or cut across the desert to lions.

Yup. The horses basically break down thusly...

Do you like Desert and/or Water content? Pick Dine

Do you like PvP? Pick Doom

Do you not give a fuck about any of that shit? Pick Peggy

Yeah only get the desert stuff for the T9 version, does have some heal thing too I guess if you get sickness but that can be covered by pots and what not.

I'll probably just go for pegasus one, seems to have the best speed and overall movement, I'll just avoid desert/use a camel or whatever until I get another horse I guess.

Btw they still don't have a way to copy hotkeys from one char to the other right? They have like a settings save/load system for graphic options and stuff but hotkeys are still default on new chars and have to redo everything by hand everytime you make a new char, as far as I could tell.

No Ulukita or Infinite Pots on CM this week, but still some good stuff:

  • Marni's Realm Revamp
  • Added Treasure - Krogdalo's Sanctuary
  • Mass opening of Production Node sacks
  • Improved acquisition of junk loot in some Monster Zones
  • Changes to Node War participation opportunity return and individual reward
  • Added Hotkey (Ctrl+F) for Find My Item feature
  • Improved Find NPCs feature
  • Added equipment enhancement guide for new Adventurers

I got 2 hammers from coupon codes but nothing to use them on, would there be anything worth buying to use them before they expire? I don't have money though, around 2.5b and apparently like another billion in stuff I could sell in storage but not sure I want to(large part of it is caphras which usually you'd want to keep). Can't afford a TET blackstar weap and there's no TRI for sale, not sure if it'd be worth on armor or accs. I guess something like TET bheg gloves is 2billions so I could buy that and try to get PEN then resell if I don't?

True.

Proud new owner of Nouvermon, and basically broke.

Also, I want to say Gahaz has had a stealth nerf to the Shadow spawns. Looking at my garmoth tracker from last week compared to what I saw today, the Shadows drop 50% less Black Stone bundles. Not a huge nerf, but pretty noticeable.

Completely lost in this game, having a lot of fun still, and only 56-57 on berserker. Getting a grasp on gear, have most at PEN now, been afk fishing by Velia when I'm not playing now.

Understand I get boss gear once I graduate, that can be upgraded to better types of gear, does that apply to accessories too, or is that down to luck/drops/buy later? Been saving hammers ect for blackstar weapon, is that something I need to get done before season? Still not sure if I should be going with succ or awakening on berserker yet, and my first weapon to upgrade, i keep reading do main weapon?

I have a few billion in silver on my steam account I no longer play, is there no way to transfer that over, or just basically use it to max sale junk items on main account? (if that makes sense)

Still no guild, no idea on good guilds for a noob, I have a lot of phobias or some shit about strange guilds I don't know thanks to decades of MMO's, so I tend to stay away. Nagas Stole My Bike looks appealing, but they seem to be a pvp guild lol

Setting up my own basic guild for now a manageable thing with 2 accounts, or there costs and hassles that make it not worthwhile?

"Boss" accessories don't really exist, no. PEN: Tuvala accessories are roughly equivalent to TRI: X accessories and you keep them after graduation. You'll get the choice of choosing a PEN:Capotia accessory as well, which are roughly equivalent to TET: X accessories. I recommend choosing the neck, since it has the highest AP/Acc. Beyond that, you can do the weekly Jetina quests to slowly upgrade ONE accessory to PEN. I'd choose the Crescent ring to slowly upgrade.

The J's Hammer doesn't go away until Sept. 5th? 6th? Fairly soon but you still have a couple weeks to save the 18ish or so Bil you need to get a TET Blackstar. I'd try to tap on a 250+ stack as well if you can. If not, just use the highest stack you have and pray. As far as your PEN weapon, it's really up to you. Usually you just buy TET Blackstar or DUO Godyr and don't really worry about Jetina's PEN weapon. Some do the offhand, but TET: Kutum and PEN: Kutum offhand difference is literally 1 accuracy - doesn't really matter much(I would get your offhand to Reform 4 though, since it'll give you a couple AP). When you grab the Blackstar or Godyr, just go with Main Hand. The TET Dande Awakening weapon is fine for Succ spec for now.

Don't go Awakening Berserker, imo. It's not easy on the hands and Succ is just 100x better in PvE for the average player. If you absolutely love PvP, sure..go Awakening. But, the difference between an average Awakening Zerker and a good one might as well be the fucking Grand Canyon.

There's no real way to transfer wealth in the game, no. I mean, you could try to max price some piece of shit items and have your other account buy it but you're losing 15+% every transaction to market tax. Plus it's against TOS, plus you're going to probably spend a while doing it. If it's 30 billion or something? Sure, go for it. But if it's like 1-3 billion? You can grand that even at a "newbie" spot like Gahaz or Centaurs in a few hours max, probably less time than it'd take you to set all that shit up.

Just join a "newbie friendly"/PvE guild that has max buffs. Guilds are mostly only used for the character buffs anyhow and maybe some occasional memes.

Warning on the Jetina PEN stuff now. Memory fragments are (or are supposed to?) way up in price, so it may not be worth doing at all anymore. It used to be good for maybe 2 pieces, but memory fragments are a large cost of it.

I'm hoping they'll adjust the amount needed, or maybe they already have.

Basically saying so your research on it before jumping in, because the prices aren't what they once were.

That's actually a good point. I know that the 2nd boss armor was arguably not even worth it before the cost of mem frags increased. Now it probably definitely isn't.

I haven't paid enough attention to what's changed, so I'm not sure if it's actually bad or not now. I'm sitting on reform 4 bheg's though, and not sure if it'll be worth the cost to finish em out.

Definitely run the numbers though, because all the guides for it are likely incorrect. Then again, maybe mem frags haven't changed in price that much? I just know PA was adjusting them.

For those of you who are bartering bozos, what's kind of the "general" rule for bartering routes?

I just hit 3k barters for brilliant mat refreshes and have been doing 2/2 refreshes (2 material, 2 trade goods). Obviously I want to stack T4 and T5 mats for exchanging but what are some of the best rules to follow when bartering trade goods? I know to exchange 1 for 2 or 3s where you can but are there any sort of "general rules" to follow in regards to efficient routes?

Always overload. It's quicker to do that than make two trips. That's really the only one I can think of.

I generally avoided sailing west of Narvo island before I got carrack because it just takes too long. And now that you're at brilliants, I'd avoid 1 for 2's and only do 3's (outside of T4 items obviously).

Max out storage on Iliya and keep 3-5 of all the T5's is what I do. Only do Hakoven runs when you're getting 6-700+ total on the 4 barters. Not sure how margoria is now that currents are (mostly) gone. It becomes more worthwhile the more routes you have open as you can basically hit up every single node. But "routes" don't matter for shit now since there shouldn't be any currents in the main sailing areas. My (mostly) comment is in regards to margoria where it appears that 0 current is still kind of there, as are some other weird currents that aren't listed.

Guess it depends on your goal. If you're looking at getting carrack materials, just keep doing what you're doing and make sure you have enough T5's in stock to hit them when they pop at refresh. If you're looking to make money, margoria is worth double what everything else is. But bartering is kind of ass for money.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get the Carrack asap. I somewhat regret going for it not realizing all the bullshit you have to do in addition to the dailies. I was under the impression it was just 30-60 days of dailies but now that I see all this exchanging shit, 3k barters, 5k barters, etc...I have regrets. It's a pretty massive time investment that's probably never going to really pay off but I wanted something I could do while watching football, soccer, MMA, etc. and still make decentish money. But now that I'm like 14 days into this bullshit, it became somewhat of a sunken cost fallacy. Now that I'm at 3k barters I feel like I can slow it down a little but spamming those T1s to get to 3k was wearing on me.

So basically just stay away from Epheria area (except when it comes to materials I need?) for trade goods and focus on 1 > 3s? I have an Epheria Sailboat and alt parked at Ancado for when the coins routes are decent.
