the war on porn was more of a 90s thing id say since that was the last time criminal charges were filed by the fed. the fed was able to permanently alter the way a studio did business (to this day decades later)-- so it wasn't like the case didn't have an impact. It had a lasting impact, but with how many other studios there are, it wasn't felt. Although there may have been a chilling effect for some time. By 2000's there were another round of risk takers ready to risk it, and it was all forgotten about. They did not pursue any other studio, for whatever reason. It may have been a litmus test, or something personal. but after the obscenity prosecutions the anti-porn activists should have just given up

with streaming porn now the landscape changed i could see some obscenity prosecution attempt at some point, just has to have the right US attorney and backing. pornhub should be the primary target of any new obscenity case.

even if so, they have to rebrand.

even if activision doesnt want to divest itself from blizzard, there is still a need to rebrand blizzard. Just a matter of when.

Kotick has to decide when that time comes what he's going to call the new company.
