Athena is looking to be the support class, but I can see the dmg builds as well, hard to pick her skills without knowing how the game plays but here goes:

The idea is hold the shield up when shit gets rough(absorbing dmg, healing friends), throw it for insane damage(bounce 4 times), all the while jumping around and smiting bitches for the added fire/shock dmg.


Wilhelm is going to be a beast with his pets, damage EVERYTHING! Can shoot AND full accuracy while sprinting? Yes please!

Yeah. I made myself a promise after A:CM I will never buy a game where Pitchford somehow benefits financially from ever again.

Aside from Pitchford being human garbage, I'm one of those rare people who just plain didn't like BL2 as much as the first. I never even maxed a character in BL2, in BL1 I maxed at least every class once, some more than once when I lost my 360 HD and got the game on PC.

Yeah playing video games is my hobby. Some people act like it is their entire existence. They can be shitty human beings but as long as they're not funding ISIS and only post shitty stuff on twitter that isn't enough to rustle me.

What was the overall consensus? A 7-8 doesn't always mean terrible for me because Dynasty Warriors games get far less and I still love the repetitive iterations of those games.

I don't even see the hate for Randy at all - he misinformed for sure, but he wasn't directly involved with A:CM anyhow - he's no doubt seen shit in a bad state that went through touch up and got fixed in the past and assume A:CM was fixable when it wasn't.

What the hell is he supposed to do as the executive for the company? Say "Oh yea, the game is coming out and it's shit"? He's obligated to try to make it sound as good as it can, and he sounded too optimistic but nothing overboard.

I'd love to see more honesty from development execs, but when they're told you'll ship X timeframe at the latest by their partners their hands really get tied I'd imagine.

I cage any of his praise for anything appropriately now, but I don't think he's a shitty person. [And note he's been upfront that this title is a little shorter than he'd like in a few Twitter comments - disappointing that it'll be "short"-ish, but that's a level of honesty most devs don't have - maybe too little too late for some of you, but I appreciate him being honest on it]

7-8 sounds passable to me - I think Hatorade too - reading the first it reads closer to a 8.5-9 (listed as a 7.5) that they're complaining that it doesn't innovate very much and docking 1-1.5 for it. Which I already knew was a given personally.

I see. Gaming drama aside, I loved and sunk an embarrassing amount of time into Borderlands 2. And if it's the same formula as BL2 I'll probably still buy it, although that won't be for another 6mo-1yr since I'm really backed up on games in my steam library.

Missions are very repetitive is the common complaint.
