Can't you just use windows sound panel to set the output for the browser?
I can change it on a per-tab basis with that extension. You can't do that in the sound panel.

You can if you're using Win10. Search for App volume and device preferences. The tabs will be listed, albeit not named so it takes some work to figure out which is which.

Opera, Brave, Vivaldi to ignore Chrome's anti-ad-blocker changes, despite shared codebase | ZDNet
They've announced they won't be implementing the changes, which is what got me interested.
If youre not command-line averse try youtube-dl. Works for everything and very reliable, best choice on Linux, independant of browser. Updated regularly.I don't see that anyone has really answered your question about a video downloader. I used to use DownThemAll, which was fucking awesome, but it has been broken for years now and the author claims he will never, ever port it to Chrome because of the shenanigans Google puts into their api's or some such. I don't remember exactly, but that's close.
In my search for a replacement to that, I eventually came across Internet Download Manager, and I liked it so much that I bought a lifetime license. It has a Chrome integration extension too, that usually pops up a button the moment you start playing a YouTube (or PornHub, etc.) video. Or you can manually add them, or insert custom filters so that every time it sees a particular type of link it uses IDM, and a ton of other shit I don't even use.
It works fucking great, and I highly recommend it if ripping videos or bulk downloading is your thing. Or even normal downloads, it makes them much, much faster due to multiple connections, and makes them significantly easier to resume as well. I can't remember how much it was, but it wasn't super expensive from what I remember.
Been using Opera exclusively for ages. That's great news. (Opera also has its own baked in ad-blocker, which isn't dependent on the Chrome API)
Since you asked, I think Opera's Speed Dial, Bookmarks, and History management features are light years ahead of any other browser. Recommend you take it for a spin.

Question since you've been using Opera. How do I get the 1st tab to be my main
Since you have been using Opera...How do I get the 1st tab to show up 1st when I open a new browser? It keeps defaulting to the last tab on the browser. I'm using the gaming browser of Opera.
Yeah...did that.
The issue is the last tab on the browser is the tab that shows up 1st when you 1st open the browser. So I want my FOH tab to be the tab I see 1st , but its my Papaly, which is the last tab on my browser. I moved the FOH to the last tab, so it opens as the main tab...but I hate it at the end.
Gonna put this here since we are talking the max exodus about to hit. I've never used Opera before so not sure if good or not. Does seem interesting tho. Anyone using it?
I'd like to find a better paywall blocker. Everything I've used only works on a handful of sites or gets re-scripted over and over. I miss the easy days where I could inspect the page and simply hide the element...
Anyone can suggest a browser with low resource requirements, safe and has similar functions like Chrome?
That's my main concern. Love chrome but it's just an huge resource hog. I've had to shut it down via task manager cause it sometimes slows down my games and I then notice a huge performance in my games. What kind of resource hog is it?
