Beyond Good and Evil had a strong female protagonist who was not sexualized. The Fallout series has a few well written support characters who are non objectified women, like Tambi, as well. Samus in the older Metroid games also stand out ( until prime fucked it up). They are rare, but they do exist.

Long Live the Queen

A game by a woman for women. And it's actually a game.

Ate a piece of poisoned cake. Died. 10/10.

In the 70's there was Blacksploitation.

I don't know what catchy name we're going to give to this mega-fag trend, but in 20 years they're going to call it something. And it will be catchy.

Vadgesploitation?

So it is bad when he does it, but not when you do it, and that is not a contradiction? Is it hipocresy then? I'm trying to find a positive quality for it, but I cant. Help me out, how it is called when you do it is right, but when others do it is wrong.
I would much, much rather be talking about the actual issues here instead of giving you another English lesson, but if you're going to be an ass about it...

Do you know what "always" means? It means "all the time", "in every instance". So when I say that hyperbole is notalwaysa bad thing, that means it cansometimesbe a good thing. Now, if you were in any way serious about criticizing this statement, you would look at what was said, in what context, to prove what point instead of jumping to the asinine conclusion that "it is bad when he does it, but not when you do it". That's intentionally misrepresenting what I said, it's dishonest and cheap and you should be ashamed.

I compared Lith's argument technique with that of the media he is criticising. The reason for this comparison was to illustrate how there are reasons why certain points of view don't get represented in certain contexts. I don't blame Lithose for doing it in this case, and I don't blame the media for doing it in this case. So my exaggeration (through the use of the word "signal-boosting"), which was obviously not meant to be taken literally, drew a parallel between what Lithose was criticising and what Lithose was doing. You can argue that overall, that wasn't a very strong point to make, but it wasn't an example of argument fallacy.

Lithose, on the other hand, repeatedly made statements about how amazing the media thinks Sarkeesian's work is. He said they called her ground-breaking and brilliant. He said they took her words "as gospel". He said one could easily find 2-3dozenexamples of her work being praised as amazing and that's simply not true. There's no comparison being made here. This isn't an "obvious" exaggeration, this is a misrepresentation of the actual facts, and it forms part of the foundation of his whole argument. This example of hyperbole is textbook argument fallacy. Look at the example on the site you Googled for me and see how similar it is to what Lith was saying.

So there you go, bro, I "helped you out". I already know you're going to find another straw man to prop up (you're veritably grasping at straw men!), but that's OK. I'm patient. Go for it.

Don't worry, Rayray, game makers have not forgotten about you. The industry is big enough to make games for all tastes.

So under your position, why when lith does is then it is bad, but when u do it is good. I know you'll rather troll than answer a simple question. You said is not always bad, so when you use it, you are using the exception part of not always, but when lith uses, you don't give him the same benefit of "not always". But I guess you are the judge of language and arguments and only u can determine when hyperbole is right or wrong in an argument.

it would be more conversational if you ever resonded to posts by staying on their topic instead of your incessant runaround where you exhibit similar memory capacities to that of a guppy, nice try dumbtardo

Men more likely to be thetarget of abusivetweets than women. Overall, a prominent male is about 2.5 times more likely to receive abuse. Interesting thing; when this is broken down into sub categories, males receive more abuse as celebrities, politicians ect--the one case where women receive more, are female journalists. However, it turns out, the senders of abusive tweets to female journalists come from women 40% of the time. For the other categories (Where males are targeted more) females only account for about 20-25% of the abuse generation.

Anyway, take with grain of salt; not sure on methodology (And even if it's a proper study). But thought it was interesting.
