So, what's the scoop on people selling heroic Garrosh kills for weapons? Is it as simple as getting carried through and getting a weapon? Is there a quest you have to have, or are there other raids you have to have completed to get into the zone? Only ask because I just boosted yesterday, and made like 1200g in a few hours, so figured I could probably scrape the 5k before WoD to get it done, if there wasn't some crazy prerequisite I don't have.

Should be good to go, do not need to worry about ilvl or anything like that.

I have no idea. I just need something better than my timeless daggers, and making money doesn't seem to be too hard.

The BOA from Heroic Garry is an heirloom, so it will probably be close to best in slot for leveling. I'm sure you'll replace it shortly after hitting 100.

How comes there is no Heirloom weapon for 80-90? Blizzard pissin in my cheerios.

Kettlebell put in work last night. Went from 10-41. Inevitably I'll level to like 80 or whatever and then quit. It's what always happens.

So is 85 - 90 leveling like super sped up now? I'm doing the MOP quests on my Warlock and I'm getting a level each night this week and only putting in like 2 hours a night at the most. I also seem to have rested experience the entire time. I'm 88 now and only like halfway done with the very first area(Jade Forest or whatever it's called). Was it this fast when MOP came out?

They upped it a lot, it's been a few months since I did it but even back then it was really fast (went through it twice and hit 90 well before getting through even half the zones).

Man, Blizzard has never shied away from making catching up easier, that's for sure.

Got a few 80's I might level up if that's the case. Read (in this thread maybe) that they changed exp for all levels 85-90 to around ~600k Exp required.

I've always played a DK since WotLK, but thinking about going back to my warrior roots (MT in Naxx 1.0 waddup playas).

I'm level 88 and the levels from 85 have all been around 550k, so probably maxed around 600k for 90. With rested and most quests giving at least 13,000 exp, it's very fast.

I'm really impressed with my experience getting back into the game. I've been gone for nearly 2 years and everything has went really smooth. The idea that groups can jump realm to realm so easily is very nice. No loading screen or any type of hitch. This may be old news but still thought is a very smoothly implemented. The boosted (Blasting Lands) was also very simple and intuitive. Really slid me into my class and role. Timeless Isle has also been good for me. I wouldn't say there is much risk though you can find several ways to die but it is fun and rewarding.

Only problem I have experienced has been getting into dungeons and being able to keep up as a healer. Many of the tanks I get just go. They move so fast and pull so much I have a hard time keeping up where they are going especially where there are random elevators, ropes, and strats that they would assume I would know. I understand what it is like to be where they are and how it would be frustrating to deal with a noob healer but that's been difficult for me as i'm using to be on the other side of the fence.

Also, I get a little confused on how to get around. I just don't know where things are anymore. The internet helps that and honestly as long as I can get to Orgrimarr, it isn't a big deal to get anywhere else.

Overall, I'm very excited for the expansion and hopefully will get to see a little bit of raiding soon.

On each new expansion the existing heirlooms should just automatically level up to the previous expansions level cap. Don't know why the old heirlooms are still stuck at 80. And the Cata heirlooms at 85. Stupid.

It's possible thats why they delayed the heirlooms vendor, i don't see any reason for them not to up them all to lvl 90 at least.
You could upgrade the original heirlooms to 85 but the vendor is gone since 6.0.2

The best part about the new expansion is that, aside from people who played beta, no one is really going to "know" the dungeons so you'll essentially be learning them with people who are also learning them. You'll get a few try-hards that want to blow through it in 5 minutes, but usually people are still working out optimal pull paths, boss strategies, etc.

When cataclysm came out I remember they decided they wanted to make dungeons really hard again and implement CC like it was back in the day. It sucked ass. We died a million times, but at least it wasn't my fault. No one knew what the fuck was going on or what to expect. Typically you find a lot of like-minded people in the beginning of an expansion cycle. Where you're at the end of the cycle now, people are going to assume you aren't brand new (in a sense).
