Wakandan aint no drama but 1-2 morons no one gives a fuck about anyway. Some people dont realize a chunk of us are from the same guild Hist leads and have been playing together for 10 years. This is also why Fartbox and some others formed a channel on day 1 to invite mature people with common sense to coordinate heroics and keep others out.

I'm glad we're putting heroic and mythic difficulty raids on the schedule. Hopefully I can attend them shortly. I prefer that to the current "Do not-normal whenever you want" style we were running.

Don't know if that was jokes, but that's the impression I get from the forum banter. Sounds like a lot of people trying to play together with different ambition levels. I'm honestly happy not going any higher than heroic, but I'd also be cool shooting for mythic, I'd just prefer to do it with a stable team that gears up in heroic together first instead of it being like hey pug yourself up to 670 then we'll run mythics. Oh and you have a week to do it.

After my drops on Tuesday Normal I'm up to 18-19k dps now pretty reliably. And I still have like 4 blues. I'm gonna get wife aggro for doing Normal again in the morning but I'm going for it, so I can get geared enough to go on heroic runs. Since I switched to ice nova my rotation is tight and I can actually watch the encounter carefully rather than trying to manage frost bomb/frozen orb, just cast everything on cooldown and stay out of fire and the dps rolls in. It's beautiful.

There's a little bit of pressure to not suck, but honestly thats probably ok; these raids honestly are not "hard" they just require you to pay attention and give a shit about not wasting everyone else's time. MMO's are much more about attention and caring than they are any particular skill. I think all people are asking is that you give a shit about not wasting everyone's time.
One thing I totally agree with you on is the ridiculous gear inflation that everyone expects as time goes on; when everyone started, obviously they did the raids in all blues with maybe a welfare nagrand epic or 2. Things still died. Now you're expected to have 3 crafted items, challenge mode gear, LFR gear, etc; and the bar will be raised further later I'm sure.
Especially for guildies I'd much rather see us just kick retards geared or not, if someone is doing their class role well but is just undergeared, then helping them along is only going to benefit the guild since eventually, they won't be undergeared.

I'm joking, for the most part. There is definitely a divide in the ambitions of members. However, I think the vast majority don't really care what the rest are doing, as there seems to be plenty going on for all play-styles.

On our alt raids if I'm not pulling 20k I feel bad and switch over to my paladin.
I'd expect any guildies, especially those playing their mains, to be fully AH geared out, covered in challenge mode gear and crafted gear, putting out the best possible damage.
If not they should roll healers.
We got the dps locked down with folks pushing 30k now.
Roll more healers for more raids.

No hes just including some of our friends like Gremory, Root, Binder, & even the new dude we got xferring over with his resto druid wife. We meet a lot of really cool and good people in the imperator pugs. Everyone who is casually hardcore like us is in the same spot, 12-14 people who are ready for mythic with no one doing anything to get the rest. We met a really cool crew last night which hopefully is coming over, they asked a lot of questions and hung out for multiple runs.
Hist also is stepping up after he talked to a_skeleton_03 to help for heroic and mythic. He put the Mythic on the calendar and is putting a weekly heroic @ 10pm EST on Tuesdays on the calendar. You can talk to him in game if you guys have any questions. The only thing I know is he plans on keeping a raid that makes sense, ie: not 12 plate + 4 hunters + 4 healers.

^ That's what I am trying to not get involved with. I'd rather be behind the curve than grinding out gold or RMT just so I can max out my ilvl from AH and crafted shit.
There's a difference between under-performing, and being hindered by gear. If it's the former and it's chronic, then I have no problem benching them. If it's the latter, then I'd rather roll with a crew who will gear them up rather than leave them on their own to pug it / buy it / whatever.
