I want to clear this up because I think a lot of people are confused.

I am in no way angry at Krassus. I had to say some things I have been bombarded with about scheduling and future goals for raiding. Some real talk. In no way have I ever told him or anyone else to not pug. He has made it clear he wants to kind of go into a mercenary role and be at the raids he wants and lead the pugs he wants. That is awesome and helps everyone out.

There is a difference between the guild's goal and a player's goals in a game and a player needs to do what they feel is right for them. None of you have to stay in Rerolled to hang out with and raid with us. Some of you aren't even on the same server.

I talked to Hist about mythics which have been a goal from the beginning and has always been stated that hearts will be broken over it and we don't care. People will not be invited or might be asked to come back another time if/when they get more gear and skill. Deal with it. Heroics will be close to the same but more of a skill issue there and if you are ruining things for the rest of the people you can try again next week. I might not be mythic raiding myself. I will be helping recruit and organize though.

I think a lot of things got blown out of proportion and that might be due to poor communication from me. I hope this clears it up a bit or maybe not. The only issue was about the importance of scheduling to help the guild because not everyone else can log in all throughout the day. What I don't want is some widening gap of animosity towards Krassus or anyone else because he isn't there to hold anyone's hand.

I never even got a response as to why I couldn't get into the imp raid.
I didn't notice your message until after the clear. I route my whispers to another chat box and many times forget them until later.

For last nights Imp run the group was requesting folks have the kill for heroic imp already so we didn't have to worry about folks being nervous and hitting mines.

Wasn't trying to ignore you. Sorry.

My frustration is that I know I can do the Mythic mechanics given a few attempts to get used to the new shit, but I'm stuck at low-mid 20k's for dps thanks to a combination of missing a couple heroic raids due to holiday stuff and general RNG assfuckery.

And no, I will not roll a healer instead. :p Not even sure why I bothered with the hunter for as long as I did; DK4life.

I haven't hit a single fucking mine in a hundred imp reps across dozens of pugs. That was just a bullshit excuse to exclude people.

From the imperator attempts I was at, I don't even see how you could hit mines unless you're retarded. Watch, I'll hit them next time somehow...

I had to kick the tank, healer and a DPS from my heroic slag group today because they couldn't grasp the final boss' mechanics. There are retards out there.

^ That's what I am trying to not get involved with. I'd rather be behind the curve than grinding out gold or RMT just so I can max out my ilvl from AH and crafted shit.

There's a difference between under-performing, and being hindered by gear. If it's the former and it's chronic, then I have no problem benching them. If it's the latter, then I'd rather roll with a crew who will gear them up rather than leave them on their own to pug it / buy it / whatever.
Most of us don't explicitly care what gear you're wearing as long as no one is held back. I fully expect to have to kick dps on H Butcher if they can't pull 20k dps and fully expect any guild member to understand why. This is regardless of them being 640, 655 or 670.

Ya. I think mines are way overblown and honestly I'm surprised people hit them.. Especially DPs since they really have nothing to focus on.

Just watching the pseudo-drama and I have to say: for a guild that initially advertised itself as Casual (its even in the thread title), I find it perplexing that a_skeleton_03 is saying that Mythic raiding has been a goal since the beginning and apparently people are getting benched instead of given the time to practice/improve. How many casual guilds form under the basis of being casual with the goal to raid Mythic? What teh eff?

What does casual even mean anymore...?

It's casual in the fact that anyone can join the guild and there is no mandatory expectation of raiding. If you want to sit in the garrison and play house while chatting in guild chat all day you're welcome to do that. I'm an ultra-bad with almost zero HD RPMs and they still let me in.

I'm out for a bit, will be back once garrisons can fight each other via tower wars style and/or all the raid content is in.

Likely going to have to miss next weeks raids as well, fucking brutal work schedule coming up. I'm glad to hear we have a for sure firm time for Heroic and Mythic, I'll make sure I'm open Tuesdays from here on out, I'll wait for 1 more heroic clear before signing up for Mythic (currently at 658 ilvl with 7/7 Heroic, simming at 28k as Survival since a crafted upgrade but need to tighten up the rotation a little).

Its hard to take a stand in the shit thats going on in the guild right now because any grown ass adult can see and agree with both sides. But any person planning to come to the guild needs to know that if you dont get along with the clearly visible tight group of friends in this guild, you wont be in their raids. It wouldnt be an issue for the most part, but most of your good players in the guild routinely raid with them. So that means you're left with the people that they deemed unworthy to be in their raid. Whether thats because of conflicting time schedule, low ilvl, who they dont like or the people that just plain suck. In a regular guild where you are recruited, this wouldnt even be an issue because each party would go their separate ways. I just dont advise anyone that wants to raid upper tier difficulties to invest their time here if you dont get along with them. I hope this new heroic that springs up does well and it changes that, but right now this is the brutal fucking truth. Whether Im ignored or no longer invited to any raids because Im not afraid to say it isnt really a big deal to me.

Histstanding up and actually taking responsibility as a raid leader is a good omen, however. Hes a likable guy and Ive only ever seen him judge someone based on their skill and knowledge of the encounter. So maybe with some time, things will get better and people will actually petition to join that raid by approaching him instead. In fact, specifically. Hope that hint helps some of you that are at the mercy of whatever kind of petty shit you are up against.

Lastly, if you actively use Honor Buddy - dont talk or tell anyone else in the guild about it unless you know for sure they are using it too. There are some people that look down upon you for having that "edge". Whether its out of jealousy or they just think you suck so bad you have to use it, is pointless. If you want to save face and have less drama, stop talking about it in front of certain people. If you have any questions about it and are afraid to ask a random person - direct your questions to me. I dont mind, and Ill be able to help you out without the fear you'll be snitched on or looked down upon.

The initial plan is everyone can come. Everyone once they hit the basic gear of 630 can come to normal. You can be a mouth breather as long as you are 630 then I don't care, we will power through normal and fun will be had. There would be two of those raids a week. Out of those two raids a week we would find enough people to do one heroic raid a week at least but this raid you need to perform in. Not because we care but because things won't just fall over and die like on normal. From that raid we find 20 people that care about and want to do mythic.

That was the plan from day 1 and it hasn't changed, much. It was discussed a lot by a few people I made officers, those people are both casuals and hardcore and I chose them based on how much I saw them logged on and just involved. We all agreed that it was a pretty good sounding plan even if you aren't interested in the upper tiers of raiding it brings the option to the table.

The things that have changed is that Saturday night people just generally have not shown up like they do for Wednesday. The heroics have all been loosely guild but mainly just led by guild and pugged. The mythic hasn't gotten off the ground yet but will start on Sunday and we will see how it goes from there.

How is this still casual? We have 275 members and 120 or so are level 100. Mythic raids are 20 people. Normal/heroic raids cap at 30. We aren't running 4 mandatory raids to fit all 120 characters in and then using those to run 4 heroic raids to run 6 mythic raids or whatever. We don't have 6 nights a week scheduled for "progression". You don't need a world of logs link to show that you are capable of coming to a raid. The guild itself is strictly casual as it gets. Certain people in it are not. Non-casual people in general just tend to get into a little pseudo-drama from time to time. It happens 60% of the time, every time. Doesn't change the guild concept as a whole, just a few of the people playing.
