I built Lune as a healer which you dont really need in these fights anyway, derp

I cheated a bit and googled it without much spoilers, it seems you get rewarded some currency later for how many you helped and are still alive. So might be best to keep them alive and kill them later.

This was much easier with a 3rd dps character, and also reading gustaves abilities because im retarded and didnt see this shit actually just makes him do stupid damage very quickly lol primarily it fully charging overcharge. Also making sure i had the +3 AP on breaking picto

It's the same kind of game that you makes sit sit back for a minute and think to yourself 'what in the fuck are other studios doing if this was possible all along'.
It's the same feel as BG3, Elden Ring, etc, where you've been so starved of actual good games you kinda forgot what it feels like in between the few rare releases.

really fun, go in completely blind since the game does a great job slowly introducing you to a really cool world
i'm playing on series X, i tried quality mode (30 fps) but found turning a bit janky so switched to performance mode (60 fps) and it still looks great. I bet it'd be even better on PS5 Pro/PC but i'm playing the free gamepass version
and yeah like everyone said above i SUCK badly at parrying, you can practice with maelle in the intro but not looking forward to hard fights.
i think people may be overhyping it a little, i'm only 2 hours in and i enjoy it a lot but its not on the level of elden ring or BG3. More like Lies of P or Lost Crown or Split Fiction, really really solid fun games that are focused more on doing things we've seen before in an extremely well executed way. If you have a PC no reason to buy it, get a month of gamepass and you can easily finish it (plus a dozen other awesome games on there) in 30 days.

Played on both Series X in performance and quality, also 5080 in 2k (Will move PC to OLED 4k soon) DLS DLAA everything epic - it really puts the Series X to shame. Would be curious to see what it is like on PS 5 Pro. Also do yourselves a favor and turn all post processing to low.
