Post-firing Bo Pelini to players on Nebraska AD: - SBNation.com

It's no secret that Bo Pelini butted heads with some people in Nebraska, and he even admitted as much when he was introduced as the new Youngstown State coach on Wednesday, saying that he never had a school president who understood football
Sounds like if Bo knew how the "game" was played he wouldn't be a winning coach taking a huge downgrade in jobs.

"I didn't really have any relationship with the A.D.," Pelini said. "The guy, you guys saw him (Sunday), the guy is a total p----. I mean, he is, and he's a total c---."
I'm sure his next boss is going to love him too.

His new boss is Jim Tressel, they're both douches so I'm sure they'll get along just fine.

You still reeling from that smackdown I put on you last year? Sign up for Bowl Mania son and lets show them how us Blue Bloods do it.

plus I tried to add you on XBL but UgaJesusMan4Richt was not available.
You weren't far off.

I've been traveling for work every single week. Maybe I'll sign-up and win back my crown next time I'm in front of a computer that is mine.

Michigan reportedly has offered Jim Harbaugh $8 million a year | Dr. Saturday - Yahoo Sports

Sounds like Michigan thinks they are all that and a bag of chips, maybe one day reality will set in.
Two points I think are true here:

1. If they really want to pay $8M/6yrs they'll get a blockbuster hire/big name. If the reports are correct that's Bill Belichick money. That might be the Harbaugh only offer, but that kind of deal is not getting left on the table by 99% of college coaches out there.

2. Saban's agent is already drawing up the paperwork for another raise.

Just landed the number 1 player in Texas and the aggie recruiting class, especially on defense, is starting to unravel. Feels good man.

Was curious as to how the top 1 or 2 guys out of Texas each year have fared(using classes that are old enough to where we would have hard results from their playing)

2006:
#1 - Sergio Kendle LB Texas
#2 - Matt Stafford QB Georgia

2007:
#1 Ryan Mallet QB Michigan
#2 Terrance Tolliver WR LSU

2008:
#1 RJ Washington DE Oklahoma
#2 Jermie Calhoun RB Oklahoma

2009:
#1 Russel Shepard QB LSU
#2 Alex Okafor DE Texas

2010:
#1 Jackson Jeffcoat DE Texas
#2 Lache Seastrunk RB Oregon

2011:
#1 Malcom Brown RB Texas
#2 Trey Metoyer WR Oklahoma

2012:
#1 Mario Edwards DT Florida St
#2 Johnathan Gray RB Texas

Some pretty decent names on that list, especially the QBs and D-lineman. Also interesting that now that the SEC is in Texas, more schools than just LSU are pulling these kids. The #2 guy in the 2013 and 2014 class both when to Alabama.

Bama pulling Texas recruits isn't the SEC pulling recruits, it is Bama doing Bama things. Amazing how that entire conference rides their coattails.

I think LSU consistently pulls more Texas recruits than Alabama, so that seems like a ridiculous comment.

Looks like A&M is having a bad day on the ole recruiting trail. If we get Bussey tonight they might implode.

We picked up a couple of good JUCO recruits, nothing earth shattering perhaps. Still waiting to see what the full changes on the Defensive side will be from assistants, etc... Apparently the D for the bowl game will be completely ummm.. base line? No frills or special formations or anything. Probably for the better at this point.

You misunderstand. All the SEC schools always point at Bama and say, see look at what the SEC is doing! The conference isn't doing anything, Bana is doing it.
