Right, all that is understood at this point by everyone that has paid any attention throughout the BCS or even modern era, I'm sure. My comment was strictly from a fan perspective and how this impacts scheduling and travel to try and see these playoff games and how not doing them regionally hurts me (impacts is probably a better word). Even if, for instance, Auburn ends up in the Sugar Bowl and then National Championship in Dallas I'll still likely pick just 1. But like joe said when it (if it) grows to 8 teams maybe they'll do opening rounds at home fields.Report: UConn lost $1.8 million at Fiesta Bowl - Connecticut Post

They make it back in merchandise. But still its not all its cracked up to be. The Bowls make the money in bowl games.
Leaving for the casinos in Tunica tomorrow, thank God it is an afternoon game so we can get hammered and lose money at the tables while still sleeping in. Last two time I think they were early games and that drive + sun in the stands was terrible.
