Coloring makes both worse.

I'd have to see both without colors to really make a fair judgment on the lineart.
I would agree. as is, both look like shit.

Those are both on the GOOD sign of mainstream comics bad art. I honestly can't be bothered to look more up but it definitely gets worst than that. And it happens on large and smaller profile books. Size/popularity does not matter. They'll take a steaming pile of art shit on any book.

Jesus, that's even worse than the Marvel ones.

I think the next Marvel thing I'm gonna read is the new Ms. Marvel, with the teenage girl. Seen a lot of panels of it that I really liked so I might as well try it.

Also gonna give Rat Queens a try, looks interesting. Anyone reading it?

I kindof despise Rat Queens.
Its basically "what if a couple of frat boys decided to make a LBQT DnD comic?" Its incredibly cynical, mocking nerds and LBQT. Just full of spite.
But for some reason, the tumblr/reddit audience doesn't seem to notice its by a couple of white dudes using the "diversity" push to make a quick buck off of them.
I really have no idea why its so popular.

The artist for it was arrested for domestic violence after #10. (color me shocked...) The new artist Stepan Sejic, (sunstone, Topcow, and a few other things) is taking over. Stepan is awesome, and a genuinely good dude. Also a social advocate, but sane, and sincere. I kindof doubt he'll stay on long honestly. I think hes going to see through the writers bullshit. or at least hope.

I kind of don't give a shit about the motivation behind it or backstory on the creators. I'm not in the industry like you, that shit is meaningless to me. Is it a good read on it's own? All I care about.
