It does on the osk, yes
And the windows key isn't highlighted on the OSK? If not, then I can only guess that there's something fucked on the OS level.

Only thing new/different was install Fortnite for 5yo and then remapped keys to better fit little hands. (right ctrl for sprint, etc)And the windows key isn't highlighted on the OSK? If not, then I can only guess that there's something fucked on the OS level.
sometimes the mouse driver also fucks up the keyboard, especially if you have legacy ps2 devices, look out for all your HID's (human interface devices) and uninstall those drivers.Indeed, cleaned original keyboard and then purchased new one, also happens with On Screen Keyboard.

Either that or buy a computer, which isn't out of the question
You probably just need to do some repairs with a recovery usb
My troubles have entered wtf zone.
I bought a new computer.
So I have old aoc monitor, old logitech mouse, old e- machine speakers. New computer. New keyboard.
Same problem....
How did this shit carry over??
Still happening with just old monitor+ new PC/ keyboard/ mouse.Probably the mouse. Does it have extra buttons? They might be set to the windows key. Try installing the logitech software for it and see if you can mess around with it. Or just try a different mouse

Had to force Netflix to close on tv, now trying to connect everything to that
With new computer it started with a wizard. First language then timezone. Then prompted to log in or create new. That's when I realized dysfunctionAnd you're using a new windows installation?

It must be monitor or cord.Welp. I hate to break it to you, but there's a curse on you. Someone has a voodoo doll of your computer and is holding the windows key down.
Time to contact a local exorcist (tech repair dude)
But, since the only old thing left is the monitor, might as well connect your PC to your TV via HDMI or something beforehand just in the off-hand chance there's some sort of problem with a potential USB hub in it that's sending bad instructions.
