So it's only my GPU that has any kind of heat issue. I lowered my CPU clock and GPU power use but seems to be that the gpu will be around 70-75C with any load on it. I may have shaved off a few C moving it but the next step would be after market cooling like alll in one liquid I guess. Might be a fun project.
My gpu hits around 75-76 under load, and I OC is within an inch of its life. So use that as a baseline. If you're hitting 80+ on the card you're probably in trouble
I see some stuff about Radeon RX Vega 64 running too hot... I have a Corsair 800W PSU from 2013... I've never seen a reason to upgrade it and the documentation says it is a sufficient PSU.
i recently just got a Gigabyte RX Vega 64 , and when im start to play games for 5-15 minutes, the card temps keep getting up until 90c then my screen goes black and system turn off. is anyone had a same issue with me? im not overclocking this card, it runs at default settings and keep goes black ...
I'd buy the 2070s long before watercooling a vega. I've got a 2080 that I watercool with a Kraken G12 and a Kraken 62, works great and completely silent. Originally I got a corsair H60 for the GPU but ended up putting that on the CPU in favor of the K62 on the GPU.
Now If I could only find someplace in stock with the stupid things. This is why I bought Vega 2 years ago or whenever. Bitcoin faggots had them totally out of stock everywhere.

So my sons computer is having a no video detected issue. Sometimes it will fire up and everything is fine but shut it down and the next day its up to the gaming gods on whether we will get an image or not. I have ruled out the problem being the monitor as it works on another pc. Tried different cables but no luck there either. When we do get an image the graphics are fine. Do I just need a new gpu or could it be something else?
