Just disconnected my TV. We're going with Netflix and Shomi (Canadian netflix) for $18 a month. When hockey starts up again we can just stream or go to the pub with our new found savings.
Sling is month to month, no contract. When sports season starts up just subscribe to sling it gets ESPN. Then when it's over just cancel. Everything can be done online and is easy. No need to call in and deal with shitty customer support when subscribing or canceling. (For the record I have no idea if support is shitty since I have never had to deal with them)

Yeah I need Sling mostly for Food Network for my wife who watches it for literally 3 hours straight on weekend mornings and ESPN for when college football season starts. I may have to upgrade to the $25/mo package to get ESPNU as well since the Bearcats often play on that network.

I have not had any issues with Comcast and streaming Netflix HD. It's perfect any hour of the day.

I've been pretty happy with Sling TV/HBO Now/Netflix. I'll probably sign up for the $99/year NFL Game Pass. It lets you stream every NFL game (not live, it's same day on-demand. You can listen to live audio).

Lame it doesn't let you do it live, I'd sub to that in a heartbeat.
The live version costs $129 - $199 for the season and requires some very simple workarounds. I did it last year and it was amazing. I am waiting for a discount code to do it again this year.

People say thatLog in - Watch all Football Games | NFL2Gois good also. It is basically restreaming NFL Gamepass and only charging like $30 in bitcoin.

Last years work around were very simple, not sure if they'll tighten that up or not. I'll certainly go that route next year as I got Sunday ticket for free the last year and this year.

I don't think they will change anything because it brings in more money for them. They just aren't legally allowed to be up front and allow the streaming from US ip's but what they "don't know" doesn't hurt them. Every month or so they would block some stuff and you had to fix it yourself just enough work for them to show they are fighting it.

I think if you pick a single team it might even be cheaper.
I wish that they would do that with Sunday Ticket. I would happily pay $5-$8 a game for the 49ers games that are not nationally broadcast but paying $250 when it probably gets me 10-12 games that I want to watch per year is a little rough. My plan for this year is to threaten to cancel DirecTV again and hope they offer it to me for free.

Where can I find the live version? I only see the on-demand version on the NFL website.

You need to proxy/VPN from a country that they allow to buy it. The most popular one is Romania or Brazil. I think Brazil shows it as the cheapest.

You just VPN set up a subscription and you can do this with a US credit card and billing address and then VPN in when you want to watch. Pretty simple.

I already have a VPN service. So I just access NFL.com thru the VPN?

I looked around the site a little but didn't see anything obvious, so I'll ask here if they offer Redzone as a stand-alone streaming product, VPN or otherwise? Because that's all I ever watch anymore.

I'm gonna try NFL2Go first. It's my first time doing anything with bitcoin. It takes a week to get your bitcoin money after purchasing it.

Anyone that did it last year do you know if you can connect via VPN and turn it off and still stream? Not sure if they are doing the IP check just at the start or not.

I did it and yes you can. Just need it for authentication, I would even leave the window open for days at a time.
