Excellent posts over at the MMORPG forums. The stark differences in how the foh/rerolled guys and how their members posted should be a huge clue to those guys why the exodus happened and, a portion of, what we were all fearing when we heard of the sale.
Can we not just crawl the old site with a script and use the data to export a txt file of sql commands that someone can run in developer to grab all of the important threads. It'll work with anything not image intensive which, it seems, the really important stuff isn't.
