I'll take 100% responsibility for Chuk's name changes to Astrocreep,

The only rule I had on name changes was:
1. It couldn't be to a name the community didn't recognize. Ex: Tuco->TucoRamirez ok, Tuco->Heals not ok.
2. If a mod changed someone's name it had to be at their request, or they had to find it funny too. There were exceptions to this over the years for someone who was especially deserving of some pranks.

I kept Astro in his name because few on the forum knew him as Chuk. But through shear determination he got someone to change it to Chuk or some derivation enough that the community knows him as Astro and Chuk. Ergo, he should be entitled to whatever Chuk based name he wants.

The problem is when Astro starts posting about TV shows as Chuck, we all start to panic and think that more than one person can be that bad at watching TV. If we rename him back to Astro, it has a calming effect on the community.

tuco is full of shit, he changes my name out of spite, not out of fear somebody might not know who i am. just stop being a fucking liar for once tuco.

Real talk, having your name changed without notification is fucking awful. Hopefully by "seamless" here it means you can always log in as the original username pre-change.

cause astrocreep was only my eq surname and nobody in game ever once called me astrocreep or astro. it was always chuk or chukzombi. my online name has been chukzombi for much longer. whenever the fuck beavis and butthead started showing white zombie videos on MTV(94?) i became an instant fan of theirs and have been using the zombi ending. though if you really want to get anal, my RL nickname is Chuck and when i played nintendo back in the 80s i always used chuk when it asked to enter your initials.

That explains how I lost an account on rerolled to the twat mod squad, the shitheads basically banned my account this way because I used a throw away email for password recovery.
