The middler thing seemed like a very classic Curb storyline. Something no one would ever recognize in real life, but something that someone like Larry David absolutely would.
Same thing with the hotdog eating content. Also a classic Curb storyline.

My prediction is that her plot line will have a big payoff by the end of the season, borderline edge lord payoff. I think they will do it in a way that is not obvious to your average viewer. Not sure if this is a prediction or a wish, either way I am fine with it.

Another great episode. Glad we're getting solid Curb again.
That stupid show pitch plotline with the fat Mexican girl just wasn't working, and it brought the rest of the episodes down with it. Unfortunately it's only a matter of time before they get back to it.
The last two have been home runs though.
