this is what... the 7th or 8th sequel/prequel/remake movie announced just in the past couple months ? hollywood needs to burn
I thought this was a remake of the original but it's not.
It's a sequel but dives more into the origins of Charles. They did go back to the classic Chucky vibe though, not the smartass comedian he became later in the series.
There's an extra clip after the credits too.
Overall... I give it a 5/10
