I think films/shows like this that so deeply delve into real life psychopaths are gratuitous and maybe immoral. No matter how it's portrayed, that he gets a film about him where the focus is on him is almost like a glorification of his life. Not like it's the only media about him either. Just like all the insane attention that spree killers get now or someone like Charles Manson. The victims become an afterthought. Won't get my view for what it's worth.

Fucking exactly, are you reading my mind?

To add to it is theres nothing interesting about Dahmer. He was a failure who preyed on a easily victimized group of people, how he did what he did wasnt interesting or unique.

So put on a random episode of this and what am i treated to? muh waycism. Scene of some black guy at the police chastising the police for not investigating his claim of being assaulted all because hes black and Dahmer is white.

They show their hand in the very first episode. Black gay guy is sitting in the hallway right after the cops cuff Dahmer and he exclaims "you killed my people!". This guy had no way of knowing how many people were killed, the sexes of the people killed, nor the races. It made zero sense from a story writing perspective, but the writers needed to establish their theme and just hoped no one would notice

Scene from 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' compared to the actual trial in 1992:

Doubt. They've lost millions of subs since squid game, and anecdotal i know, but i dont know a single person who has watched this. No one talks about it, nothing on fb or twitter or any other social media other than one article i saw fags-b-mad they slapped the lgbtq tag on the show. Shit it has all of 2 pages on foh and you bros are a better bellwether than most. Gonna chalk this up to do Lying dying wokeflix trying to remain relevant.

If it did numbers it just adds to the disgust at the whole ordeal with this show. Everything about it is second rate.

They showed their hand in the trailer. The trailer had more black people in it than the trailer for Woman King

These shows are guides on what not to do and what to look out for in regards to avoiding these assholes.

I finally finished this and the wokeness was fairly absent up until Jesse Jackson showed up towards the end, but in my opinion that was easily tuned out

Don’t get me wrong it’s there, but it was tolerable for some reason. The situation with the Asian kid running naked in the street only to be handed back to Dahmer by the cops is more rustling than any attempt they made at being woke.

Overall it’s a depressing and morbid watch considering it accurately depicts what took place according to court documents and from Dahmer’s own admissions.

The production and acting are above par and it apparently held my attention long enough to finish but I wouldn’t recommend anyone watch this.

I listened to the 3-part series on Dahmer when The Last Podcast on the Left did it. Probably not going to watch the show. Dahmer may have been the sickest fuck ever.

I'd be curious to find out exactly how accurate it all is. Certain things like the neighbor letting him into her apartment to talk seem just right-out hilariously unlikely to have happened.

Also they were constantly pushing the "much systemic racisms" literally every chance they could get, which is fucking tiresome, but expected in modern day.

I wish they would just keep shows like this as documentaries and continue Mindhunter instead.

You guys are shocked that the same companies who made the movie about the 3 black chicks at nasa completely made up their racist sexist supervisor would again make up stuff in this movie?
