DS2 is a great port despite the hackers. The game requires a controller even on a PC. I can't even imagine using a keyboard/mouse for this game.Man, Took me forever to get into DS1, then finally got obsessed and beat it, still havent played DS2 more than 15 minutes. DS3 looks sick but I just cant get over the shitty PC ports. Controls are so bad. Mannnnnnnn
If it helps, Sunken King felt like the one where the sorcery thing was the worst. The other two have a couple enemies with an annoying amount of resistance, but it's not quite as much of a blanket thing.I'm playing the PS4 version of DS2 right now. I beat the main game (the final boss is alive but everything else is dead) while I work on the DLC. I actually don't find the DLC to be fun at all. It's the artificial difficulty which annoys me. I hate how the game goes from a point where Sorcery INT is solid and viable to the DLC where they say "Fuck you Sorcery is all going to suck now because of reasons." I'm at the Slumbering Dragon and it's not a fun fight.
Fixed that for you. They can go to Dark Souls 50 doing this same shit every two years and I'd be happy. Actually I'd behollowed, but whatever.
Huh, so combat arts are replacing the parry button. Granted, it sounds like parrying will still be the combat art for certain weapons, but still, having to actually create a parry build rather than it just being something everyone can do, and for that matter parries now using up a resource, is going to be a pretty big game changer. Some good info from one of the youtubers that went to bandainamco the other day for playtests
