I pretty much agree. And yet, it's the exact type of game that I'd love to play co-op with someone. Such a shame!
it's not about difficulty it's just fun sunbroing with your friends on coop specific characters. I've beat the games with SL1 characters with the exception for bloodborne since that game is boring as hell, i haven't even finished it.Playing with friends in any souls game is for pussies
They'll never get past the Asylum Demon. They will never beat it lol.
And if they somehow do...Twitch Fights the Kapra Demon? Christ, that would be entertainment gold. They'll never get past the Asylum Demon.
DS2 lacks that sweeping "omg - I am a few ramparts above where I just was an hour ago and I still see my bloodstain" level of interconnectedness, but some of its levels are just stunning. Wish they'd done more like Heide's Tower and The Lost Bastille and fewer like Black Gulch. I'd also prefer a less annoying Shrine of Amana, because that place sure was stunning from an artistic vantage.Progressing through DS2 now, and I can see why people don't like it as much as the first one. There is just something missing that the first one had. Maybe the areas are too big, and bland.
I feel bored in some areas where that never happened to me in DS1.
Yeah everyone says the same though I think part of the reason you're bored is you started it right after DS1. Those of us who played at launch had a nice break between the two games so we knew it wasn't as good as DS1 but it didn't hit us as hard.Progressing through DS2 now, and I can see why people don't like it as much as the first one. Knight's Honor is pretty annoying, used a wiki for that. One year old 360 controller broke a while ago; eventually stumbled on a playstation 2 controller adapter for a much sturdier fifteen year old one.
