I think we need to setup in one city/town and just dominate it, become renown for fucking people up that transgress our territories/policies and of course no mercy. Muur can be our executioner.

You just can't hear it on the Twitch from today. Had OBS and DayZ direct chat set to the wrong audio device, so even though they could hear me on teamspeak (it was correctly set), OBS wasn't recording any mic audio from today and DayZ direct chat wasn't working as well. Not sure how OBS didn't record my direct chat audio once I had it correctly set and people could hear me ingame, but I suspect it had to do with it being set to the wrong device.

It was mostly just me yelling at the fresh spawns to get the fuck away from edaw's corpse and trying to sort out the sudden death of the teamspeak. I honestly didn't know what to say to the dude glitching into the wall and watching us/talking shit while hidden inside the model of the house. After I figured out I could shoot through the glitched door and still hit him, I did just that.

We came out looking like sadistic assholes today, which is probably true for edaw's crazy ass popping off mosin shots at random, but honestly we were just trying to lock down his corpse after some random guy ran in and blasted him while he was trying to get TS back up.

The final body count was 8. 2 tried to ambush punch me to death out of nowhere, 1 tried to ambush wrench me to death, 1 was looting edaw's corpse which had two rifles on it, his buddy who I assumed would go aggro, and the noob who got caught in the crossfire when I found the wallglitch dude.

I do feel bad about the two unarmed friendlies chilling in the building, but dude kept looting edaw's armed body, and I just couldn't take the risk.

I spared the white T guy, who I'm sure helped set up the wrench ambush. In the end, I just couldn't hold down the house before the other bandits found us. Also, lol at bat guy. I couldn't tell wtf he was saying at the time but goddamn was he trolling his heart out. I never did get a free hug from him

I joined the group. I just bought it over the weekend and haven't played in a long time so hopefully we can set up a time to play this weekend or something. I need to get my headset working.

LOL Wrath.... I was too forgiving with all of those unarmed asshats around...didn't pop off a round the entire time!

i felt seriously gimped though, with just the magnum to defend us in those close quarters.

can we please clarify the default teamspeak URLs?

we had one going great, then it crashed mid-day.. then we hopped to another.. is there a preferred hierarchy or sequence of TS servers that we move through?

I'd like for us and others that are joining us to be able to find eachother easily... or do we not publish that, for fear of trolls from our message board getting the drop on us?

Dayz Epoch might be good as well, since it has a free-form base building component and item traders. If she's the type that liked stuff like Minecraft because of the creativity aspect, that might be a good choice.

I don't know about the Arma II mod, but you can adjust the standalone's settings so that you get really good frame rates, even on mediocre boxes. Unfortunately, the default settings will chug a lot of PC's.

^ Has most of the fixes to get good fps. Shadows, bloom, draw distance, etc. all seemed to take a lot of resources.

someone should check into Field of view, it was mentioned on some streamers channel I cant remember wich, but if you put the field of view really low and you snipe it allows you to see greater detail? not sure how true it is but the guy tagging along with the streamer swore by it and he was able to spot people much much further than the streamer while they were looking right in the same direction, he was able to spot the sniper shooting at them both.

The main teamspeak info is posted to the Steam group page. Quiet Professionals is the first choice we always use, DayZ channel. The fallback is always Planetside Universe- BF3 channel that no one goes inside. I've also posted the IP for that.

I'm a bit more careful with the QPRO IP address nowadays since we've been having problems with DDOS and I don't own/pay for the server, but we're all welcome to the TS there.

If anyone ever joins in and asks who you guys are, just tell them you play with Jendryk- they don't know wtf RR is and I use a different name for all my gaming shit these days.

Jendryk - The above video pretty much showed how you were able to survive the rice&bean boarding you received the other night.

I can not emphasis enough that eating and drinking to full when and where you can. It is really important to keep your levels as high as possible, because you never know when you are going take some hits (bullets or melee shots) and having that blood and health level high will keep you conscious so you can escape or defeat your enemy.
