Looks like DC is sticking with the dark gothic aesthetic for Batman as well.

That's sort of their brand at this point anyway. No point trying to compete with Guardians and Marvel jokes when you don't have Marvel cast and characters.

The mask looks like something out of Gotham by Gaslight and the gun in his chest-piece? How did he come by a gun used to kill his parents when he was eight? Equally, if by some ridiculously remote chance he did manage to obtain it he'd never break it apart and stick it on his chest... Who the fuck are these writers?

Looks like a shitty mix, armor plated suit with a stitched together leather cowl? Doesn't even have the menacing definition the cowl usually has and Patterson still looks emo under it.

Only thing I hate is whatever is going on the wrists??

I'm pretty okay with this riot clad thing going on with holster, straps, and milsim utility belt. Wondering if he is actually going to be able to articulate his neck this time.
