Yeah, I've seen people comparing it to the RE2 remake which makes no sense at all since Dead Space was already third-person the first time around. All it really needs is higher res textures, modern lighting system, and a complete overhaul of the controls. I remember them having ungodly amounts of mouse acceleration and smoothing on PC, and the gamepad aiming was even worse. Nothing that would justify a re-release at $60-70.

Was it just shitty YouTube or did even parts of this remake look jittery and like crap? It is irritating when companies put out trailers and gameplay isn't 100% fluid and showing the best. I don't want the era of fully CG pre-rendered trailers, but come on, at least make the gameplay look crisp.

They are short on any talent. The virtue signaling diversity purple haired hiring practice for the last 3 years has left a complete skill debt. Combine that with those same people's story ideas and you can see where this industry is headed and tanking as revenue declines. See the same thing in entertainment media in our shows and movies.
Good news is, the bean counters are starting to catch on and seeing revenue slip, once popular IP's taking a hit, etc. Watch as they blame a market shift/generational gap will be the next cop out from the SJW's, but hope someone just says this is horseshit, we want our revenue back, and people aren't buying our games/movies/shows because of all of the above - put a stop to it.
Recently Discovery canned a whole shit ton of projects after the HBO takeover. Hopefully that was a good starting point if HBO had a ton of this type of garbage in the hopper. Disney needs to continue to fall flat on their assholes too until they learn.
