Back home again, andRuneAudiolooks like the next distro I'm going to try. It looks pretty similar toVolumio, but RuneAudio actually says they're based on Arch Linux, where Volumio says nothing about where it comes from. So I'm assuming that RuneAudio will be the easier of the two to customize.
Damn I forgot about the hdmi output! If you have an input for the receiver then get a nexus 7, plex it up and send the tunes by way of the hdmi. Hmm. I might have a new project now. Great Idea Lusiphur!
