Well, they're about double the price of the Evo line, 50-60% more than Pro, for equivalent storage. 1TB Evo is about $350, and so is 500GB PCI-e interface drive^^What's wrong with the not-interface-handicapped SM951 nvme? Performance wise it handily beats the 850 Pro.
They said Ivy Bridge would clock to 5.0ghz+ with only passive cooling. Take that overclock with a grain of salt or it is a very handpicked engineering sample (with soldered IHS that won't be on the standard retail units).Skylake 6700k looks like a beast
Intel Core i7-6700K 'Skylake' overclocked to 5.20GHz with air cooling | KitGuru
Eh, I'm not THAT rich. I think the Pro 1TB is what I'm going to settle on for now. I'll probably change that 50 times between now and when Skylake is out, though.Guys we are talking about a skylake build. The skylake chipsets are going to have nvme built in. Yes the SM951 costs more, but if money is no object, that's a sane purchase.
Huh? No, those drives are just additional storage. I already have two of those as it is.Don't fucking bother RAiDing HDDs unless its for backup purposes rather than performance.

Tell your buddy to buy this. Only thing you would need to change on that is the cooler if hes wanting to OC and the case to whatever he personally think looks better.Damn good feedback guys. How does this look then? He is still content it is below 2500 and...I may just have to murder him after we build it hah.
