The evga classified/kingpin cards are meant for dudes who want to cool with water and spend days tinkering with their overclock, so unless you plan on doing that literally zero reason to buy them. Classified has more robust voltage components(2 8 pin v 8+6 pin) and the Kingpin is supposed to be specially binned GPUs, aka good overclockers+better voltage components like classified.

I have the Superclock+ and it does 1400mhz np. Could run it at 1450 probably but zero need for the extra performance.

$10 cheaper, better latency, and you're only using up 1 of your memory slots instead of 2. I'm a staunch believer in a single 8GB module over two 4GB modules. The benefits of dual-channel performance in gaming is basically zero. Leave yourself more room to upgrade instead.

Another good choice is:
Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Low Profile Desktop Memory Model BLT8G3D1608ET3LX0 - Newegg.com

It's low-profile(in case you buy a massive after-market air cooler for your CPU), low-voltage, and better latency than even the G.SKill I linked above, but it costs $10 more.

You want any 1.5 volt CL8 memory. You bought CL11 memory, which is awful. It will actually affect performance.

I have been pricing out some upgrade costs to my pc and then using my older parts to upgrade my wife's pc. After a half a day of research while working, I am considering just buying a pre-built pc and giving my wife my current pc. Normally I would buy all the components and build it myself but I am just swamped with home improvement projects at the moment and for the foreseeable future. So my question to you all is...

Honestly I would recommend building one yourself. Just pick one of the builds in your pricerange from the last few pages or post what you're looking for. They've really made assembling a PC idiotproof these days and you'll save hundreds of dollars and not get stuck with shitty components.
