He just sold his pyramid one for mad money.
I'm on the notification list for the evga 3080 ftw cards as that's the only one I want.
Going to be picking up an nvme drive in the coming months, does anyone have a source of info discussing purchasing considerations that might/should be used when it comes to DirectStorage (RTX IO)?

Yeah so I sold my Cube for 3.5k or so and I had built my gf a pc this summer but her own money. My best friend had me build her a pc about 3 weeks ago but my pc has been on hold for Ryzen 5000 and Nvidia 3000 since end of July. I’ve been using my test bench which is just a 3600 that’s holding my 3090.
However I don’t have much to play till I guess wow expansion and cyberpunk.
Lian li pushed the Odyssey X to end of December which screwed up everything. The InWin 925 would have been next buuut for that cash I’d add a bit more and go with the Distro 350.
Since I like the p3 so much I think I’ll settle on the p8 and make use of these 15 uni fans I’ve accumulated.
in the end I still haven’t spent much since I haven’t actually bought anything but video cards and a motherboard.
However I don’t have much to play till I guess wow expansion and cyberpunk.

Since they didn't announce anything about new motherboards, I'm probably just going to go ahead and get an x570 board. I'll be just replacing the mobo and CPU of my current build, so it will end up as this (ryzen 3600 in there as a placeholder). Anyone see any potential issues?

That memory is really slow. 2400 or am I missing something? Get 3200 or higher imo.
Edit: ohhh that's your current build. Got it. Looks fine and everything should be compatible.

Yeah, that's the existing memory in my current build. It's likely the next part that will be replaced.

That was my hold up - apparently no new motherboards(chipset) but so far ASUS and MSI have announced Ryzen 5000 ready boards that support memory up to 5400 or so. The AORUS Xtreme has the best layout ive seen on a motherboard to date, too bad its so god dam expensive, hopefully they do a layout like that on some cheaper boards in the future.

MSI X570 MEG ACE would be the only other board id consider besides the X570 or B550 Tomahawk - I dont do much in terms of ASUS nowadays.

No point in going to 5400 if the Infinity fabric can't handle that. On X570/Ryzen 3000 that's 3866

That aside im torn on dropping back down to a 38GN950 from the CX48 - When i do game for more than an hour burst it is normally an MMO - I think trying to sustain a decently high FPS on 4k is going to be a battle even for the 3090 - I saw it get as low as 70 in the hub, with max around 108 or so. This is on max with only shadows low, and worried in a raid i may be frequently in the 70s or lower - Anyone have any experience 4k raiding in an MMO?

Doesnt seem to be any more or less RGB than some of the other X570 boards really - Its almost the the point i question "why"

The socket hasn't changed in quite a while, it's the chipset I was talking about. No talk of a 600 series of motherboards.
