Oh, damn, it looks like my new computer already did that. Good thing this isn't a family computer because some of those bookmarks are NSFW.

So I didn't even need to ask, nice.

Unfortunately I lost about 400 open tabs on the last day that I was using the last computer. Even though I was able to restore them after rebooting without any issue for weeks, I was gonna add them to another favorites folder before I switched over to the new computer. Poof, all up in smoke once the computer crashed for good. Mehh.

Um wow how much ram were your porn tabs taking up?

Many people have a problem buying a graphics card. My friends are always talking about how they would buy a used graphics card, but I keep telling them not to. Even after 2-3 years of use, the card in good condition will cost at least 50-60% of the price of a new, similar model. This means that offers to buy a graphics card 2.5-3 times cheaper should be treated with suspicion - most likely, the previous owner had some problems with it. It can happen just a graphics card failure which will damage the whole PC with all the data. In such cases, only raid configurations can save you.

Very poignant post anime-avatar-spam-bot.

Apparently, Hyte is a company owned by ibuypower but this case is making the rounds with all the tech tubers, and it looks freakin' sweet!

it got a pretty good review, despite a few short-sighted flaws

If their next case irons out some of the kinks from this one, it should be a really cool case to build in.
I'd like to see someone partition some of the front end to make a terrarium

It's probably years off since I just built my current gaming PC last summer, but I'm guessing that my next build will be a small form factor, relatively minimalist, and water cooled.

I like the simplicity and small footprint of something like this:

I don't disagree, it's why I've avoided them, too. But watching this case build, I don't really see many knuckle scaping moments. It looks like modular assembly in SFF cases is improving. And to be honest, I've had plenty of knuckle scraping moments in my O11D Mini, which I guess is technically a mid tower, though it feels more like a stumpy full tower

I kinda wanna build a Fractal Torrent Nano, but I wouldn't call that SFF because it has a fullsize PSU.

If I could find the parts for MSRP I probably would already.

ITX X570 board.
5700X
6800 XT.

Already have a PSU and some good DDR4 RAM.

Not even close to the worst I've seen. Had one that was in an office attached to a restaurant kitchen that literally had a grease fire start in it.

Smokers' computers though, fucking disgusting.
i remember one time i went to a friends house in early 2000 and he said his pc kept shutting down, and i knew he had a p4 (non core2duo) these were notoriously hot, i think it was even with rdram, anyway we open it up and the cpu cooler was just a tennis ball. i threw some compressed air and it didn't move, actually had to go in w/ a screw driver between each fin, it was like fucking foam

I have way too many hard drives for this shit. I still got hard drives from the 90s I use. Something over a dozen of them, and about half them are the old school fat boys. Not everything can be my two nvme's.

Like seriously just buy a couple 12TB drives and transfer it all onto a small NAS and get rid of junk from the 90s.

Yea, I'm not fighting that uphill battle. I keep two 12TBs for my backups. Only if a hard drive falls in battle to I go through the effort organizing it. I intentionally obfuscated where everything was on my harddrives as a kid. They're a nightmare, but I know where everything is.

dude, they didn't even have 8GIGAbyte hd's at the end of the 90s, whatever you have on those hd's could fit on a promotional 16gb thumbdrive advertising viagra
